Italy is known around the world for its delicious and succulent cuisine, it is well known that the Mediterranean diet is one of the healthiest in the world. The main characteristic of Italian cuisine is its extreme simplicity, with many dishes composed of 6 ingredients on average. You can not think of visiting Naples and not experience the delicacies of this city, more so if it is that kind of food that consists of a few simple ingredients and famous all over the world: Pizza. Good to eat both baked or fried, prepared with tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella, some oil and a basil leaf, you will realize that will not live without it.

Moving on to the main courses, you have to try at least one of these: sausage with friarielli, exclusively of Neapolitan tradition, is a vegetable mainly grown in Campania and in fact are difficult to find outside the region, it is cabbage steamed which accompanied with the sausage makes this an unique dish.

The eggplant parmigiana, also here there are simple and inexpensive ingredients, a dish full of flavor but also full of calories!

Finally we find the icing Lacerto, it is a main courses of meat which is flavored with carrots, celery and onions, forming a creamy and flavorful sauce.Let'g go to the desserts!

After a good meal you can not fail to have a good dessert to finish your lunch or dinner that is, keep a space in the belly for the dessert.

The sfogliatella, the dessert symbol of the city of Naples is the most consumed by both citizens and tourists, available in double greedy version, curly or pastry.

The babà, a dessert that surprises for its softness and its particular taste due to the gentle soaking in rum.

The struffoli, to those who still had not heard, we can just say that they are small balls of sweet dough, fried and then dipped in honey and decorated with colored sprinkles and candied fruit.

Or the Neapolitan Pastiera, a pastry pie stuffed with a mixture made with ricotta, candied fruit, sugar, eggs and wheat boiled in milk. The dough is crisp and the filling is soft. A delicacy that your taste buds will thank you!

And of course do not forget the coffee!
