The 4th Organic River Festival is held at the beautiful Kimberly Reserve, Levin, New Zealand (100k north of Wellington). The main theme is Alternative Energy.

Imagine an idyllic rural setting surrounded by native trees and flanked by a river with beautiful swimming holes, well removed from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Come for a weekend of organic feasting, entertainment, education and relaxation.

Safe swimming holes, children’s entertainment, comfortable camping, alternative new sustainable technology, two entertainment stages, and continuous live music will all be part of the fair.

The Festival is a place to relax, chill-out, recharge and check out the latest in alternatives & organics.

If you are a lifestyler, organic grower, music lover, food and wine connoisseur or just want a taste of the good life for a few days under the shade of natural bush in mid summer by the river this could be just what you need.

The main theme for the 4th festival is Alternative Energy. Campsites - (Hot showers and flush toilets) There are a limited amount of campsites only available by online booking. Weekend camping for 3 nights - $60 pp. Family concession - $150.

The Organic River Festival is an annual event run by - EFECT the Eco Fest Educational Charitable Trust, raising environmental awareness.
