World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships: Llanwrtyd Wells, Wales - July

The 7th World Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling Championships

Date: Saturday, July 10th, 2004

This unique event takes place in a bog on the outskirts of Llanwrtyd Wells where a trench has been cut. Competitors have to cycle two lengths of the bog, approximately 90 metres, using snorkels and riding specially prepared mountain bikes which are supplied with the tyres filled with lead and water. Wet-suits are recommended.
