21st to 25th JULY, 2004
Rich folklore traditions of Croats and foreign participants are at the heart of this traditional festival. We hope that the audience finds it interesting to compare and contrast cultural differences and similarities, discover the richness in form and detail among the cultures of different peoples. Along with performances of about 1000 participants, the festival also features other events such as exhibits, folk, sacral and world music concerts; one may also join dance and music workshops.
The festival takes place mostly in Zagreb’s old town - Gornji grad, on the Gradec stage. There are also performances in the main square - Trg bana Jelacica and other venues. For the most concerts the entrance is free.
Everybody is warmly welcome to join the festival!
