.

Favorite Smurf: What do you have against SNORKS? What?! Do the smurfs rule the world? I am the Annie, I speak for the snorks!

.

Favourite Quote(s):
- "Barn’s burnt down... now I can see the moon." Masahide
- "You know what we need right now? A lemming stampede... and an air rifle." Wispered to me by Jacob Nagy during a very boring lecture
- "Out beyond ideas of wrong doing and right doing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there." Rumi
- "The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware; joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware." Henry Miller
- "It’s like an orange on a toothpick!" So I Married An Axe Murderer

.

Favourite 80’s fad: The banana clip (especially if you had so many, you needed a drawer to hold them all. Thank you very much.)

.

.

How her co-workers describe her in 3 words: Claire: dazzling, confidient, & a little crazy! Carrie: creative, quick witted, and one hell of a hip hop dancer!

.

Handy travel hints: When backpacking, buy gallon size "ZipLoc" bags. That way, when you pack gets wet, your stuff doesn’t. But even better, you can organize your stuff by type, so it is easier to find. It also slides out really easily and stays somewhat folded. Really good for those times when you don’t want to wake up all of the people in your dorm room when stumbling around looking for clothes for an early morning, or a condom for a late night.

.

Dream Vacation(s): Trans-Mongolian Railway, Living with the Masaai

.

Places she has called home: USA (Westchester Co., NY, Sarasota, FL, San Antonio, TX, Ann Arbor, MI, New York, NY), Ireland (Lenane, Co. Galway), Scotland (Spittal O’ Glenshee, Perthshire), Italy (Venice).

Best or most bizzare vacation ever: Oh yes. A perfect example of my accident prone status in life. The morning after my birthday, while I was in Bled, Slovenia, I woke up with a tummy ache and a migrane. I had been halucinating and vomiting all that night. (Later I found out, it was from the poison mushrooms on my birthday dinner pizza.) My climbing trip was cancled because of rain so I decided, eventhough I was feeling off, I was wide awake and I should venture out. 5 minutes later, I tripped over a backpack and smashed my head against the door. "Oh well, that’s a shame." Next, I went to town, sent some postcards and decided to lay down in the grass. First minute I’m there, I roll over and lay down on a bee. A few minutes later, my arm has swollen up. "Ok, that’s a shame," I think, "but it isn’t rainning anymore, I really should get some use of this day." I rent a moped because all the kids in my dormroom had done it the day before and said there were beautiful towns up in the mountains. Well... 20 minutes into driving, a car comes straight on to me. I’m on the right side of the road... but apparently the driver wants to use his AND my side of the road. I swerve, thinking better to bail then try to take a vw face on, and fall off the side of the road. I have now gotten a fantastic case of road rash on my left knee, my left breast, and my chin. While in the process of falling, the bike lands on my left leg, leaving me stranded 10 minutes until someone found me. Also, my bottle of pineapple juice exploded in the fall, leaving me covered in the sticky juice. Then, having no desire to return on the "devil machine," I walked the bike back for a few miles while people watched me from their cars that were stopped in traffic. Walking a moped, wearing the stupid helmet I couldnt figure how to take off, and bleeding. By the time I returned to the moped rental place, it was 11:30am. I decided it was required that I spend the rest of the day hiding in my bed. NB: A great thing about that day is I met Claire that evening!
