“If personality is an unbroken series of successful gestures, then there was something gorgeous about him, some heightened sensitivity to the promises of life,…[Gatsby had] …an extraordinary gift for hope, a romantic readiness such as I have never found in any other person and which it is not likely I shall ever find again.” F. Scott Fitzgerald

Handy travel hints:  You don’t NEED anything. Even a passport can be replaced. Everything...including your precious photos and journal... (which i am very fond of )...are meaningless compared to the actual experience that you had while travelling. So relax...your experiences exist without you even trying, teaching you things, and popping up in gorgeous memories of people and places. The stuff that we take with us is to teach us that we are human and we like stuff sometimes to make our lives easier/ harder, more/less fun, to give us the exercise of the extra weight to carry and to give us a choice between tops to wear to suit a different mood. It’s good to realise these healthy contradictions of materialism/sentimentality and letting go...and how both of them are entirely why we travel.

Dream Vacation: Although i know nothing about sailing i would like to have a boat of some description and live on it sailing through the Mediterranean, the Pacific Islands...anywhere that looks nice.....for as long as i can. This way i can stop everywhere and see everything!

Places we have called home:  Australia- Canberra, Shoalhaven Heads, Wollongong. Italy- Venezia

Best or most bizzare vacation Ever: One of many Camping trips to the south coast of NSW Australia...involving several wonderful girls, talking, laughing, fruit salad, mint, painting with Baileys and skinny dipping.
