Description : Enjoying an excellent location in the very heart of touristic place and the old city area, called Sultanahmet, the Star Holiday Hotel faces both the famous and inspired, Blue Mosque and Santa Sofia (Haghia Sophia) museum. Situated in the centre of Sultanahmet, the hotel is also just a stone's throw from Topkapi Palace and the fabulous Basilica Cistern - with the Grand Bazaar being no more than 10' minutes stroll away. Offering very affordable room rates, the hotel really does provide value for money. Not only is its situation one of the best in the area, the Star Holiday also offers guests simply decorated and clean accommodation, a roof-top breakfast room overlooking the Marmara Sea, and the chance to enjoy a refreshing drink in the hotel's 1st-floor bar. Rooms are all equipped with air-conditioning as standard and also include a direct-dial telephone, TV and refrigerator, hairdryers . The Star Holiday Hotel allows guest to truly enjoy the very spirit of Istanbul without having to delve too deeply into their pockets! The distance to some of the major tourist attractions are as follows (approximates by walking unless otherwise stated): Topkapi Palace – 200 metres ( 2 mins ) Sainth Sophia Museum – 50 metres (1 min ) Blue Mosque – 100 metres (1 min ) Grand Bazaar - 400 metres(5 mins) Airport - 15km (20 to 30 mins by arranged transfer or cab) Taksim - 4 km ( 10 mins by cab ) We have a total of 75 beds in 30 rooms. All our rooms are equiped with the following facilities: 1. Private bathroom with shower. 2. Hot and cold shower available 24 hours a day 3. Telephone 4. Mini-fridge 5. TV 6. Air conditioning 7. Central heating 8. Towels and bed linen are changed on a daily basis The hotel reception is at your service 24 hours a day and there are no curfews . There is a terrace cafe/bar and lounging area (half of level 2) for your enjoyment as well. Bed linen and towels are changed daily. Having a hot shower in any time of the day is not a problem at all as we have hot and cold water running 24 hours a day.
