IMPORTANT: When you arrive to check-in please always come first to the reception at KURZGASSE 2 (behind the tall building of Hotel IBIS). The HappyHostel reception is located in the 6th district at the 'Kurzgasse' 2, wich is not in the same building as the rooms and the apartment, but only 1 minute walk to the rooms and 3 stops by tram to the apartment. The private rooms (no en-suite with shared bathroom, toilet and kitchen) of the HappyHostel are located in a new renovated typical viennese apartment at 'Mittelgasse' 37, a 5 minutes walk to the train station 'Westbahnhof'. There is public transport (both underground and tram) close by. The modern and very huge and cosy apartment (en-suite with kitchenette) is also very good located in the 7th district at 'Schottenfeldgasse' 66 close to 'Burggasse' (tram 5, bus 48A) and a few minutes walk to 'Mariahilfer Straße' and 'Ring' street. The much loved shopping street 'Mariahilfer Straße' is just a short walk away. The main attractions are near-by: By bus 48A and subway line 3 (U3) you reach the St. Stephan‘s square in 8 minutes. By tram 5 and 58 (or U6/U4) it takes only 15 or 20 minutes to the Schönbrunn Palace and Zoo. The HappyHostel is the ideal place to stay in Vienna for every traveller that is looking for both an inexpensive and a comfortable accommodation. Whether you are visiting for business matters, or for private reasons, the HappyHostel offers you the kind of room or apartment that fits your needs. The HappyHostel is open to everyone. The individual traveller, couples, families with children and groups are all welcome. The rooms and the apartment have access by elevator. At the reception all guests can make use of the PC with free internet access! There is also the possibility of having the wash done and dried for a small charge. Please also note the following information: 1) The estimated arrival time must be notified to us as soon as possible, preferable when you book. We ask you to make use of the 24 hours system. Example: 11:00am = 11:00 11:00pm = 23:00 2) If on the arrival day you are delayed for more than five hours, we ask you to call or inform us by e-mail. We will then hold your reservation for you. Otherwise the accommodation becomes available for other guests. 3) There is a minimum cancellation of 24 hours prior to arrival day ( for group bookings it's 72 hours). In case of a too late cancellation, or a no show, we will charge you the amount for the first night. 4) The HappyHostel has a strict no-smoking policy, that applies to all rooms and common areas. We ask you to respect this rule. 5) When paying by credit or debit card we charge you one Euro extra for the service.
