Description : Top-Hostel in Germany 2008 by HostelsClub.com - Am Rheinauhafen Hostel in Cologne is situated in the center of the town and directly at the river Rhine. Nearby are the historical square Heumarkt, the chocolate museum and the whole city centre. All sights are within a foot walk. Every hostel room has a sink and a wardrobe, dorms have lockers, the whole hostel is a non-smoking area except our bar. To conclude the day we recommend you in our Greenbar, where you can drink a typical beer of Cologne - Koelsch and chill-out with your friends. Our facilities: - bed linen included - hot showers - free Internet at our computer in the lobby or WiFi at your laptop - lockers in dorms -almost every room has a sink -luggage can be left at the reception desk - no curfew -no lockout - guests can enter the hostel any time with an entrance key - TV on a big screen in our Green-Bar - free city maps - bycicle shelter - breakfast all you can eat for 5 euros - To the fair grounds it's just 2 tram stops We have: - 6-beds dorms partly with the Rhine view, 20 /22 euros per bed/night - Four 4-beds-dorms partly with the Rhine view, shared bath for 25 Euro per bed and night; - Three 3-beds-private rooms with common bathroom for 26/30 euros per bed and night; - Three double private rooms with common bathroom for 30.00/35.00 euros per bed and night; - Two single private rooms with common bathroom for 39/49 euros per person/night; - One private room for 2-4 persons(one big double bed and 2 bunk beds) with kitchen, private bath,TV for 120 euros per room and night. Payment: The payment must be done on arrival in cash or transferred into our account in advance. We do not accept credit cards. We take a key deposit of 20 euros for the room key and give it back to you on your departure. We have towel hire with the fee of 1.50 euros per towel Check-in and check-out: Check-in from 2.00 p.m. of the arrival day Check-out: until 11.00 a.m. of the departure day Opening hours of the reception: 08:00 a.m.-12:00 a.m. 14:00 p.m. - 22:00 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays the reception is open until 24:00h. In case of a late arrival or an early departure please inform the hostel team. Cancellation policy: Cancellation policy is 72 hours: If a hostel guest cancels his room later than 72 hours before arrival he will be charged with one night price. If a guest has already checked-in and wants to check-out earlier, the payment for the non-used staying will be given back only if the hostel finds an other guest who is ready to take the same room for the same days. Important: If a hostel guest violates the house order through disturbing other guests, noise at the night time, excessive alkohol consumption or the like he/she will be urged to leave the hostel immediately withount re-funding for the already paid nights
