The hotel was formerly a nunnery and was built by the family of the Marquis del Campo about 450 years ago. The restaurante of the hotel has just been reopened with a new direction, so once you are at the hotel you must try it. It is rumoured that there is a secret tunnel to the castle on the hill top behind the hotel.Denia is close to the airports of Alicante, Valencia and Murcia. It is an old port with ferry services to Ibiza and the Balearics. There are activities to suit everyone in and around Denia, including golf, sailing, scuba diving, kite surfing, jet skiing, mountain biking, and climbing.
