Description : Zuzabed & Breakfast is my home. The idea was born when I was thinking about all the people who enjoy, just like me, visiting a city and living a genuine experience of the local life and culture, without the loss of certain comforts, but with the benefits of a personalised atmosphere. Located in Chiado, one of the most charming places in the heart of the historical centre of Lisboa, between Baixa Pombalina and Bairro Alto, ZUZABED & Breakfast gives you the luxury of proximity to the best of the historical heritage, urban architecture, specialized commerce and the vibrant social and cultural life of Lisboa. Made with great effort, imagination and full dedication, this Bed&Breakfast is the first and only one of the international chain Nice B&B's of the World. This title was established and given by us, basically because affection is a word of order in the house :) When visiting us you will certainly leave us happy in the knowledge that this is achievable. We have 4 rooms but for those guests who wish for a little more, we suggest the two suite options, with terrace, ideal for relaxing on a warm and sunny afternoon, getting some tan whilst reading a book or just contemplating the beautiful and romantic views of the typical cityscape of the centre of Lisboa and the S. Jorge Castle hill. The rooms are: - TERRACE CASTLE room (direct view from the room to the castle and also from the terrace and view to the garden) - TERRACE GARDEN room (terrace with view to the castle and view to the garden) - VINTAGE room (window view to the castle) - HOME GARDEN room (with balcony, view to the garden and a bit of the castle) True to the purpose of supplying maximum comfort and privacy, all/our 4 rooms are equipped with what we consider to be the basic and essential facilities to relax and re-energise, after a day or night in the fantastic city of Lisboa. All 4 nice rooms have equal comfort and in-room amenities: - Double or single and twin bed - En suite bathroom with shower - Air conditioning - LCD Screen with satellite TV/music - Towel-warming rack - Hairdryer - In-room safety box - Daily room servicing All our rooms have the same nice room service: - Gourmet continental Breakfast (at living room) - International Press (at the living room during breakfast) - Free Internet Acess (at the living room during breakfast time) We remind our guests that we are located in a typical Lisbon sloping sidewalk and on the 2nd floor without elevator. POLICIES Check-in: 14:00 h. Check-out: 12:00 h. Early arrivals: Feel free to arrive before the scheduled check-in time. 09:00 is the earliest hour for you can arrive. Your luggage will be kept in case your room is not yet available or prepared. Late arrivals: In case you need to make your check-in after 17:00, please inform us by email, fax or telephone, so that we can guarantee your reception. Late Check-out: In case your room is not reserved for the following night, your check-out can be delayed until 19:00. We charge € 20,00 for Check-outs made after 12:00. Smoking: For security and comfort of all, smoking is not allowed indoors in any part of the house. Smoking is only allowed in the terraces and balconies. Breakfast: A gourmet continental breakfast is included and for your pleasure and comfort it is served in the living-room between 8:00 and 10:30. Children: We do not accept guests under 16 years of age. Animals: we do not accept animals.
