Description : Marnix Hotel is two stars hotel located the heart of Amsterdam centre with the Leidsplein, Holland casino, Vondel Park, the Van Gogh museum and Rijksmuseum in the direct surrounding. The famous Dam square and infamous Red Light District are all within walking distance as is the impressive Anne Frank House. Located next to the buzzing Leidseplein, THE hotspot of nightlife in Amsterdam with many bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants in the direct area (standing in front of the entrance you can already see 5 bars and a coffeeshop). Marnix Hotel runs it with very low prices for the coming period. We believe you should not spend too much on accommodation while you only need a suitable place to store your belongings safely and spend your nights in Amsterdam. Besides our private rooms, we offer hostel beds for travellers on a budget so that they too can enjoy the many things the city has to offer. Our rooms are not the biggest in Amsterdam, but we are confident that it will be more than adequate for your stay. The Marnix hotel offers a nice and cozy lobby to spend some time while emailing your friends/family, reading or just watching TV. Our friendly receptionists will be more than happy to provide you with any tourist information and guide you to the city attractions. We also have different brochures to inform you about the many activities in and outside the city. In short, the hotel offers the following facilities: - 24 hours reception - No curfew - Vending machines for snacks and drinks - Bed linen included - Free breakfast (with real Dutch cheese!) - Free Towel - Free internet - Free safety lockers - Free smiles Plus we have a cat who loves attention and likes to talk (unfortunately it's only in cattish, so we have no idea what he's saying). Please remember, this is a no smoking hotel. We have no problem of smoking outside or at the a designated smoking area in the neighborhood, but please don't do it inside our hotel. As our guests have different sleeping times, please keep the noise down after 11.30 PM, basically we advice to 'party outside and relax inside'. Also, the prices mentioned are based on cash payment. If you choose to pay with credit card, then an additional fee of 3% will be charged extra. We are looking forward to welcome you in the Marnix hotel! Bookings and cancellations: The Marnix hostel does not charge you in advance. Our cancellation policy dictates 48 hours advanced notification prior to arrival. If cancelled within this period, the first night will be charged.
