Descrizione [in inglese]: In the heart of the historical centre of Syracuse, and yet only few meters from the beach, the “Alla Giudecca” suites residence is collocated. An ancient narrow street lead to the residence, which is a seventeenth century building completely restored and trasformed in 26 suites for a vacation periods. The 26 suites, each one composed from one/two bedrooms, living room, kitchen,bathroom and terrace, are all fully equipped and furnished for the guests comfort. The entrance to the suites pass trought a tipical countryard with a stone arches which evidence the ancient structure of the building. The residence is also disposed an assembly hall with the capience of 150 persons, banquet halls, bar, breakfast room, reading room, cocktails spaces and meeting arees for buisness conversation or workshops. In the undergrounds of the building, eighteen meters below ground level, you can visit the archaeological site of the ancient miqwe. The miqwe, an antique jewish purification bath from the VI a.c, constituted the most ancient bath that was ever found in Europe and a unique piece of jewish architecture and archaeology.
