Descrizione [in inglese]: Comfortable, inexpensive, cosy guesthouse in Budapest downtown with style and character. You can find us right in the ORIGO, in the very downtown of Budapest, but not in the very touristic area, a little bit hidden, next to Kossuth square and the spectacular Danube corso with magnificent view to Buda castle. Sights very close to us: 100 m from Danube bank 200 m from Kosuth square metro stop 250 m from Parliament buildig 300 m from Museum of Ethnography 400 m from Chain bridge Ours is a small, cosy and clean guesthouse on the second floor of a nice, old Pest downtown building. We have totally only 4 rooms (2 DBL rooms + 1 TWIN room + a large room for 3 or 4 persons /but sometimes we use this as a dormitory/), and 2 very nice bathrooms belong to these 4 rooms, so unlike in many hostels, one bathrooms is shared by only max. 4 persons / 2 rooms. (Please note, we also have an apartment next to the guesthouse for max. 8 persons with well equipped kitchen and bathroom with laundry.) In our guesthouse there is a living room connected with a big kitchen, which is very well equipped: oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge, laundry. We also have a nice terrace. If requested, we can put one extra bed in 2 of our rooms, so these 2 rooms can be used as triple rooms. (DBL = room with one doublebed, TWIN = room with 2 single beds) We created an own atmosphere for all of our rooms, and they have their own colour and style: The green, the blue, the red and the yellow room can be booked! Our services: SERVICES: -Reception service (not nonstop at this moment) -Bed linen included -Towels included -Private rooms and dormitory - One bathroom for 2 rooms / max 4 persons -No curfew - lockout (once you get the room and building key, you can come or leave whenever you want) -No additional taxes -City maps (we give city maps to you free on arrival) -Well equipped kitchen (micro, owen, etc) -Free Laundry service -Free unlimited internet access -Breakfast possibility (in Datolya restaurant next to us for ap. 2.5 EUR / pers) - Secured garage (10 EUR / car / day) -Supermarket, Cheap restaurans, pubs, bars, music pub/discotheque (Macskafogo, Iguana), Internet cafe, money exchange, bank, travel agency, ATM, metro/bus/tram stop all within 150 m from us -Travel services (we can help you arranging excursions in or outside Budapest, walking tours, boat trips, activities) We look forward to welcoming YOU in the ORIGO of BUDAPEST! Please note: You cannot check in before 10:00 AM and later than 24:00 (PM) (on the date of your arrival)- when you get your key, you can arrive and leave any time! Check in from 10:00 till 24:00 Please note: we have only 4 guestrooms and therefore we do not have nonstop reception; for this reason we need to know your estimated arrival time. We will be in the guesthouse to let you in (check-in) at the time you informed us about in the reservation form. We will wait for you for 2 hours. If you did not inform us about your delay earlier, and you arrive more than 2 hours later (or much earlier than reported to us), you may not be able to check in and need to call (sms) us at any of our contact numbers. Our staff will arrive then in 30-45 minutes to let you in / arrange check in. To avoid waiting for us we suggest you to inform us in advance about any change in your arrival time. In this case you can spare time for you and for us. Thank you for your understanding.
