Archie's House is a small, family-run hostel on the first floor of a 19th century building 10 minutes by foot from S.Lucia train station and a 25 minutes from the city centre of Venice.

Archie's House is located on the Strada Nuova, the main street that connects the train station to Saint Mark's Square.
Dorm rooms have a maximum of 5 single beds, no bunk beds, and have small lockers for each person.
In all rooms you will find a cooling fan and an electronic anti mosquitos system

The owner Archie's House Hostel started this business thirty years ago: he is always travelling around the world speaking in many languages and is taking his fourth degree as Ph.D., after the ones in Philosophy, indoeuropean Linguistics, and Chinese. You will probably be welcomed by his two sons, Uri and Ari. Like their father they like to speak foreign languages: if you plan to practice your Italian in this place, you are barking up the wrong tree.

The furnishing and services are bare-bones, but it's very cheap, so it's the perfect place if you plan on being around the city most of the time.

Excellent location, easy to find, close to the train station and in the direction of Rialto and Saint Mark.

Check in available
From 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Late check-in option is available with an extra cost of 5€ per person if you arrive between 8.30 PM and 9.30 PM, or 10€ per person if you arrive between 9.30 PM and 12.00 AM which is our latest check-in time. Please note you have to inform the hostel about your late check in estimated arrival time and you will have to pay the extra cost at check-in.
