Renstierna is both a hotel and hostel on the island of Sodermalm in Stockholm.
Renstierna is Green Key (eco-friendly) certified since June 2009.
We have 10 rooms and 41 beds, a total of 4 extra beds is possible to add if needed in private rooms. Contact us if you need an extra bed in one of the rooms - the extra bed options are NOT listed online!
5 rooms have TV and private bath rooms, the others TV, sink and shared bath room in the hallway.
1-8 bed rooms is available. 4 rooms are situated in the cellar and has skylight windows.
7 bus lines outside, and bus nr 53 which goes directly to the central station in 8 minutes.
2.5 km from central station, 650 m from subway station Slussen.
Our breakfast buffet is included in the price! It´s very much appreciatet with tons of alternatives.

You will be treated to an organic breakfast buffet largely exceeding the choices of the typical continental hostel breakfast. Please note that not everything on the breakfast buffet is ecological - yet.

All rooms are equipped with cable-TV, bedlinen, towels, bath robes and free access to internet via wireless internet (WLAN) or our guest computer. The rooms without private bath room have a sink.

* DVD, PlayStation3 and VHS is located in the common room.
* Free coffee/tea/cocoa around the clock in the common room.
* Vendor machine available with candy, beverages, tooth brushes et al., organic and fair trade choices are available.

NO CURFEW!
Door code to the front door + private keys to the front door, the room & guest kitchen.
24-hour check in - CONTACT US SO WE CAN HAVE STAFF ON SITE - the reception closes around 20.00, sometimes earlire. Late check in is charged with 50 SEK (approx 5.5EUR, 7USD).
Call some 15 minutes ahead, and we'll get down and open for you!

Are you allergic to anything, or need special or very early breakfast? Please let us know before you arrive!

Security lockers in almost all the hostel rooms, but not the private rooms. We will install lockers in all the rooms during 2010. A hotel safe if you need to store valuables.

If you don't want all facilities to be included in the price, then please contact us directly after you have made your reservation.

Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere inside the hotel!

Parking is free on weekends, otherwise there is a large parking lot 400 m from the hotel which costs 50 SEK/24 hours. Would you prefer a garage you can find one 500m from the hotel for 80 SEK/night.
