Young and Happy Hostel

80 Rue Mouffetard - 巴黎, 法国 (France)

交通路线(如何到达旅舍):

The Paris Metro is a rapid public transportation system offering 16 lines, numbered
1 to 14, including the minor lines 3bis and 7bis. It is easy to use by identifying on
the map which color or number line the stop you are trying to get to is on, and
noting which stations to transfer at.
The direction to take the subway in is always the last stop of the line in the direction
of your destination.
The subway is quite safe, convenient (metro stops are close together, so you never
have to walk too far), very frequent (usually between 1-5 minute waits, except for
later at night), and runs between approximately 5.30 AM and 12.45 PM, however,
this varies between metro stations.
Though the Metro is what you’ll generally need to get around Paris, there are also
bigger trains that run towards the suburbs and Charles de Gaulle airport, called the
RER, lines A, B, C, D, and E; tramways that travel along the peripheries of Paris, lines
1, 2, 3a, 3b, 5, and 7, and a multitude of bus lines.
Buying a ticket is simple: either buy them directly from the machine if you have
change (highly recommended as it can save you a headache) or a credit or debit card
with a chip. Otherwise, some stations take bills, and most have a teller that can
assist you or sell you tickets.
In terms of fare, for a single ride on the Metro, a “Ticket t+” costs €1,70 or a book of
10 for €13.20. You might want to purchase a special pass for 1, 2, 3, or 5 days that
allows unlimited access to the Metro. These start at €10 (reduced fare for children).
You can also buy a weekly pass, but be aware that it runs from Monday to Monday,
not a week from when you buy it (same goes for a monthly, which starts on the 1st
and ends on the last day of the month).
Leaving the Metro, you will find that there are sometimes several exits with
neighboring street or monument names, some may be closer to your final
destination. It might be useful to know which exit to take, but they are all relatively
close, so it isn’t a big deal if you aren’t sure.
