International Student Center New York

Great hostel. Showers are not always hot but it's not cold either. We were on the girls floor and everything was very clean. Very near central park and a subway station. Easy to explore entire NYC. Staff was great, very helpfull. The fact that you couldn't take your suitcases upstairs wasn't inconvenient. You could stack a bag with all the belongings you needed.

purtroppo sul sito di prenotazione non era specificato chiaramente che io non dovevo avere piu' di 35 anni. cosi' ho potuto dormirci solo una notte e poi ho dovuto cercare un altro ostello.

Auberge un peu hold school mais pas cher et très bon esprit. Il faut penser a prendre la carte métro illimité car loin des "animations" quand meme.

Very friendly staff and prepared to answer all your questions. The position of the hostel was perfect because you are not in the middle of e.g. hectic time square and gives you the feeling that you can mingle with the americans. Distance to downtown is even on walking distance or take the metro which will take only 10 minutes.

I enjoyed my time in USA because this place is really good to stay, the neighborhood is quite and it is a safe place. I stayed in a girl room which is not crowded. 2 restrooms along the corridor. I met girls from other countries. The staff are helpful and nice. Just to remind after check out the luggage storage charge $1 per bag per hour.

Честно говоря, я там только ночевала. Просыпалась рано, поэтому в душ очереди не было. Достаточно чисто - можно было ходить босиком. Правда, в последний день жила в другой комнате - там почему-то было грязнее. Сотрудники доброжелательны и готовы помочь. Соседи разные, но проблем не было. Расположение для меня - отличное. Рядом центральный парк. Магазины и прочее тоже недалеко. По поводу развлечений ничего не могу сказать - просто не знаю.

LA posizione è ottima, vicino alla fermata della metro, attaccato a central park, lo staff è gentilissimo e disponibile...un' esperienza bellissima in una città fantastica!!!

The room temperature is high without air-con especially in summer days. This will make a person keep sweating.

Actually, i booked this room before i came in New York. I didn't know this place was the worst that I never seen before. So I just throwed away my 10% reservation fee it was $15 and I moved there out. I didn't want to stay even though one night.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the shared room and bathroom on the girls floor were kept nicely. The subway station was just one block away - so was Central Park. It was a little distant to Lower East side where I visited the most, for about 15 min

Die Tage im int. Student Center Hostel waren genial! Super Lage, tolle Leute, nettes Personal. Der Fun factor war 100%! Ich werde beim nächsten New York Trip wieder in dieses Hostel gehen. Super Preis/Leistung Verhältnis!

This Center is very pleasant and ideal if you're just looking for a clean place where to have a shower and sleep after spending your day visiting the city. Situated on W88th, near a subway station, you can easily reach downtown or uptown. I keep this adress for my next travel to New York.

Good hostel in a safe neighbourhood. Suitcases are not allowed up the stairs, so be prepared to either traipse up and down or pack a small bag. Gets a bit leaky on the top floor when it rains, but no major drama. Recommended for cheap rates, safe community, and good location.

Good hostel, really safe place, you can bring your owm food, there is a safe for your personal papers and computers, it is not really far from downtown in subway, really clean and not noisy but any party or fun things

International Student Center New York is a very nice hostel and very cheap, maybe the cheapest in Manhattan (except for Harlem). It is in a good position you can reach it fast if you need something to leave at the hostel and every essentials are very close to the hostel, too. It's also very save, they have cameras for your luggage, but you have to leave it in the lobby. If you need constant access to your stuff you can just leave it in your unlocked room, just the hostel itself is locked.

At last you can say: if you need a cheap accommodation this hostel is very advisable compared to other hostels of New York!

very Friendly and welcoming hostel. The room are pretty big and the it's a nice place to meet people from all over the world. The staff is very nice except for one of the person working at the reception: nick, who is a Douche bag! he is VERY mean and condescending!!
