Are we a hotel? Are we a hostel? We are a house that is urban in every sense. A place to sleep, a place to relax and throw back a few beers or grab a late night snack, a place to be social, both with Vesterbro locals and people from all over the world. Welcome to Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER!

Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER has: Dorm rooms of 10, 8, 6 and 4 people, Family rooms, Double and Twins.

All rooms, Private and Dormitories have private bathrooms, bed linens, Free Wi-Fi access, sockets, individual reading light and individual safety lockers.
Furthermore, the house also comes with:

• Free Wi-Fi. Stay connected everywhere!
• Restaurant. Delicious burgers and side dishes served along cold Danish beer.
• Urban Bar. Locally brewed beers and stylish bartenders!
• Lounge: You’re here to relax and mingle. One of the staff’s favorite place.
• Free Full equipped Shared Kitchen for cooking and chit-chat
• Bike Shop. Rent or buy recycled bikes
• Tattoo shop. You won’t even need to leave the house for it.

We are located just 100 meters far from the Copenhagen Central station (Københavns Hovedbanegård) and 500 meters away from the famous Tivoli Gardens, in Vesterbro. Vesterbro is an up-and-coming vibrant neighbourhood filled with quirky cafes and restaurants; in the midst of it all is where Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER was created.

 

 

AGB's

You have to be 18 years old to book a bed in a dorm.
Guests under 18 can only book a private room if accompanied by a parent or at least a person over 18 authorized by their legal guardian or with a written declaration of consent and a copy of the ID card/passport of a legal guardian. The latter will only be accepted for minors aged 16 and above.

When booking dorm rooms, there is no guarantee that guests will be placed in the same room. If it’s important that they are in the same room, then a private room should be booked.

Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside the house. If found, guests will be subject to a 2000 DKK fine.

-Cancellation policy: free of charge until 6:00 pm one day before arrival. Free cancellation policy for a notice (over the phone or email) 24 hours before the check in time. After that period, the full amount of the first night is going to be charged. The same applies for modifications.
