Affordable accommodation for sociable and budget-conscious travelers, Kintamani Backpackers is a safe & warm haven with hot showers, complimentary tea & coffee making facilities, homemade cookies baked fresh daily, a library and a lounge for watching DVDs, playing scrabble or chess.

Accommodation
We have 9 private backpacker rooms and 3 backpacker dormitories.

All dormitory rooms come with bunk beds and personal lockers. Mountain views can be enjoyed from each room and the lobby. Bathroom facilities are shared. There are two showers as well as two separate blocks of ladies and gentlemen's toilets for private ablutions. Each dorm has 4 single bunk beds, while the first one also has 2 double-sized bunk beds ideal for couples or parent + child. We do not encourage infants younger than 5

Services and activities
There is a pool table and comfortable sofas in the lobby, and guests are encouraged to use the sofas in the DVD Lounge & Library.

There are two bars & restaurants nearby. Except in dormitory, room service is available from 5AM to 10PM

We also provide laundry service

Besides unguided walks in the neighbouring village and forests, we arrange trips to the hot springs village, Leisure Lakeside Cycling, Mt Batur Sunrise & Sunset Trekking, Trunyan Sanctuary Tour and other excursions.

Surroundings
Perched on the rim of an ancient caldera, the panoramic view of volcano, lava fields and lake below will take your breath away. The ever changing cloudscapes and play of light from dawn to dusk, and the twinkle of village lights dotted around the lake below at night is soothing to the eye. Those prefering to relax can find many comfortable spots to read around the hotel, or in the many hot-springs fed pools in the village below. The active have a range of cycling, trekking and canoeing options.
