I had a hard time finding this place but when I got there, I was not very happy about what I saw. I went up to the third floor (second floor in Europe) to pay, and the guy told me he was going to have me stay at a different location. At first, I wasn't sure what to think, but I went with it and it was worth it. I really liked the location I was at. It was pretty central but not on the primary beat and path (perfect!) There was a young woman that seemed to be the primary person working there, and she was pretty nice, and she kept the place really clean. I stayed in a 4 woman only room, and had it to myself all but one night! It had a little dressing room and a large bathroom attached, it was pretty sweet.
But warning, you may see a washing machine in the pictures, it's for staff use only!

tuve un mal momento al llegar, ya que no era el hostel que habia reservado con mas de un mes de anticipacion, y me trasladaron a otro por falta de lugar...

The hostel is situated in a great location. It's only a five-minute walk to San Marco. Except from the bathroom, the hostel is really clean. Whereas the staff is horrible. We booked a 3 female-bedroom and spent the night with 5 people in a tiny room. To sum it up: if you stay one night, this place is alright. If you stay longer, stay somewhere else!

La estadía en este hostal no fué buena. Al llegar me cambiaron a otra casa y que además al otro día tenía que cambiarme de nuevo al hostal donde había llegado. Fué incómodo la verdad, al llegar no le habpian cambiado las sábanas del alquilino anterior y estaban sucias y húmedas. De hecho me resfrié por las sábanas. El personal era distante y poco colaborador, además de que me pasó algo extraño: me estaba lavando la cara en el baño y no llevaba mas de 3 minutos dentro y el tipo me dijo que llevaba demaciado tiempo ocupando el baño, me quedé anonadada pues recién había entrado. Desagradable total la verdad, si puedes buscar otro pues hazlo! yo lo cojí porque estaban todos llenos!

poca flexibilidad con el horario de llagada, a pesar de que avisé por mail, conversé por teléfono y reservé para llegar a las 6:00 hrs no me permitieron el check-in. (??) Pagué por una habitación de 4 y me tenían de 5 (?)
A pesar de eso, amables y colaboradores. Todo limpio!

This is a last resort only. It is on Venice island which is great, however, it is really an apartment, it isn't setup properly for paid accommodation, there was only 1 bathroom for 10 people, the individual rooms do not have propper locks, it isn't particularly cheap.
In addition, while it isnt really their fault a group young idiots were staying and made heaps of noise until 3 am. They were obnoxious and generally made the place even worse for us.

Booked this hostel thinking it was a dorm type hostel, but got a flat in Venice. Had a difficult time actually finding the hostel once in Venice. The hostel has a good location, about a 10 minute walk to San Marco. Although, had a hard time getting a hold of the hostel owner, e-mailed him and never got back to me. And, we didn't get wifi, although I paid to "unlock the wifi". And If you want to meet people, not a great place to stay. All in all, I don't think I would stay here again.

Super place un petit appartement a ce prix la cest MERVEILLEUX, on etait a deux pas de la place san marco..et a venise cest important car on se perd tres facilement !! :) le proprio etait tres avenant et super sympa!! :)
je recommanderais!..par contre...tres humide dans la place et douche so-so
