Westend City Hostel

The hostel is located close the Westbahnhof train station, is nice, clean and you can ask the staff any information and service. The rooms are simple and wide enough for more people. The price is very good too and you would have a good time.

The staff is friendly and helpful. But he forgot to tell me I should pay extra 2EUR for the clean sheet and blanke, so I slept on a naked mattress until my roommate told me. There are only 2 or 3 plug seats in a ten-bed room, you have to seat outside the door to charge your phone. The location is good. It's 3 mins' walk to the train station and a shopping area is just around the corner.

It's really close to the station and as a result it's very convenient.

One such a inconvenient thing is that it only has very few electric socket in a room and not even by your bed. It makes me feel hard when I need to both charge my cellphones and camera.

Nothing special to talk of, comfy beds, lack of power points in 12 bed share room a bit of an annoyance

The hostel is quite good, the staff is very nice, but in the room there were a little bit of dirt.

It was as adverted, clean, friendly staff and very good location. No unexpected surprises.

It was really a nice place to stay in Vienna . Its write in the city centre and transport from and to the hotel is very easy . I would say its very good . Thank you guys for a wonderful you offered me.

Everything you will need for afordable price. Good location and friendly staff. Only thing that I was a little worried about was safety. However after all nothing bad happened to me and nothing was stolen (and I even did not use padlock that they have for additional fee) during my stay in Westend City Hostel, so it was only unnecessary concern.

the hostel is very good, i recommand it to everyone, the beds are clean and the personal is very friendly and flexible,

its a multicultural place , poeple from all around teh world, if i visit vienna again i will certainly stay at this place

We stayed in the 12-bed dorm, and more showers would've been very welcome. One shower per 12-bed dorm meant that there was a queue for the shower during mornings and evenings. oh and it's just one light for the entire room, with no bedlights, so an eye mask would probably be a good idea cos the room light's on till the last person goes to bed. The staff answered questions when asked though they did not seem happy to help. The included breakfast was decent. But if you're looking for atmosphere and fun around the same location stay at wombat's. our friends stayed there and they loved it.

it's a great hostel... the breakfast is not really good, but you know, it is not so good in any hostel... the rooms are great, with private bathroom and you can find great people there... the last night all people in the hostel drank beers there and in the night we go out!! it is a great hostel, but is 20 or 15 minuts walking from downtown but we there in december and walking was not a problem.

Generally, our stay was OK. We found the towels extremelly expensive for a hostel, as I always pay 0.50€ or 1€.

10 beds for one room is too many, also one shower is not enogh for all of us.

It seemed to be well, but i was disappointed by the staff and the rooms.

The location is fun, very close to train station and to several bus and tramways.

But try yourself, that´s just my mind !

Compared to other hostels in other cities, your internet connection is really really too expensive. I've been in hostels where it's even free. As for the rest, maybe a better breakfast would be appreciated from all your guests, I guess. Good hostel anyway.

It was very easy to find the hostel, it´s so near to western railway station.It was easy to get ancers to questions.Place was quiet and tidy enough and it was easy to walk everywhere from there.Breakfast was free but simple.I recommend this place:)

The hostel is very good located and the staff really friendly. Besides, breakfast is free and you can use the kitchen. But it was not as funny as in a youth hostel und a bit boring.

Wonderful hostel, not too loud at night, good prices, very well positioned, friendly staff ... just great.

Everything was superb. Staff was very friendly about giving advice-where to go,what to see and everything else. Room are clean and sheets are also very clean.The building is old style but complitely reneved. I liked it very much. Position is fantastic. You need just few minutes to city centre.

Well the location was close to the central station but the street it's not relevant and when u ask, locals got confius and give u the wrong direcction.I found the hostel after a while. Clean close to main street and shopping area there is an ALDI supermarket close and cheap 1 1/2 from there.During summer was too hot no air condition or fan + My room was like an attic clean but hot as an hell...u better expend your day out till midnight otherwise will be impossible to sleep because is too hot before.

This hostel was extremely clean and really makes an effort to make its patrons comfortable. The prices are extremely reasonable and the hostel really tries to create a cool vibe for its young patrons. There's an internet area and a smoking lounge for folks to hang in. I enjoyed my stay there and would recommend this hostel to anyone travelling through Vienna.

Staff very helpful and friendly, hostel well positioned near Westbahnhof, so you're only minutes away from the main part of town.

Very nice - if basic - hostel. Cheap and clean, honest breakfast just like home, a slingshot away from Vienna's historical center, overall a good address.

We just have a little downside for the service: staff is very cool, sometimes you don't understand why...

It was close to the train station and the underground,and pretty clean,so for a place to throw your bags sleep and shower it was fine.

In general, the hostel ist really great. But the two extra beds in a 6 person dorm are really bad. I'm glab I didn't have to use one of them...

I have enjoyed very much my days in Wien. Very Good crew. I only have two things: the beginning of the rest hour is clear; and the end had to be clear too. And I think that people in general, and some of the crew in particular, should be kindly requested to have a bath. Vieler Dank.

Loved this place! Tons of great people from all over the world that I hung out with during my weekend in Vienna. Only downside, one bathroom in a room of 12 beds, but it's really not that bad, and the facilities were very clean and new. Included breakfast was a plus, and it's so close to the Westbahnoff trainstation and off of a very big, fun shopping street. Only 10 min metro ride to 1st district. would def stay here again!

Its position close to Westbahnhof made it easy to find suitable transport around the city. It did the job of providing a decent place to sleep and storing luggage.

clean place, awesome location

nice hostel but nothing more then that. the staff are doing a proper job overall, ok to spend a night or 2.
