Canto Caiçara Hostel is located in the city of Paraty, state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Situated on the beach of Jabaquara, it is a bay of calm waters and surrounded by a tropical forest. The Hostel sits inside a mangrove area, which is the crib for a variety of plants, birds and marine species.

Built with a sustainable proposal, we have a large green area specially designed to welcome large groups. We have dorms accommodating from 6 to 26 people, totaling 98 beds with views of the sea, mountain or lake. With option of private or shared bathrooms, shared kitchen, hot showers, individual lockers, hammocks, WI-FI, parking and 24-hour reception.

Our continental-style breakfast is served in the beachfront bar. Comprised of hot drinks coffee, milk, French bread, cake or biscuit, juice, butter and supplements that will depend on availability, usually a yogurt, fruit or something traditional on the premises.

We have a Bar and Restaurant in the Hostel that is available to customers and also open to the public. It is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm and has a very varied menu that appeals to different palates.

For more comfort of our guests, we schedule schooner, jeep tours to waterfalls, Trindade, Paraty Mirim and Kilombolas or indigenous villages.
We also have the best recommendations for kayak, SUP board and bike rentals, all right here on Jabaquara beach. In addition to services such as massage, beauty treatments and others.

Children accepted. Children up to 5 years old do not pay for accommodation. Children from 05 to 10 years old pay 50% and over 10 years pay the full amount.
We do not allow by law, minors inside shared rooms.
Minors in private rooms must present authorization of the person in charge and be accompanied by a properly documented adult.

Smoking policy: All rooms are NON smoking, smoking allowed only on dedicated areas

Animals/pets accepted: We accept small animals in private rooms, provided that the hygiene and cleaning of the animal are maintained by the owner and always accompanied by the person in charge. We charge a fee of R$ 70.00 if this rule is not followed.

The property accepts the following credit card brands for balance payments: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, American Express, Diners, Debit Cards.

The property reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Taxes included.

To guarantee the reservation, we charge 50% of the total amount of the lodging. Upon receipt, we will send you an email confirming your reservation. For cancellation within 10 days prior to your arrival, we charge a 15% fee on the guarantee. The remainder of the balance will be refunded within 10 business days, or the full amount can be used as credit in a future lodging with us, if realized within 6 months. For cancellation within 7 days prior to your arrival, we will charge 50% of the reservation amount. The change of the reservation will only be allowed for non-commemorative dates and upon availability. There will be no additional charge for the change but will be subject to a difference in the daily rate. To cancel or change your reservation, send an email to formalizing your request.

In the event of a no show this property charges the 50% of BALANCE on customer's credit card.

Check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We offer late check-out, upon availability, until 8:00 pm with an extra charge of 50% of the daily rate.

Continental breakfast is served from 8:00 am to 10:00 am.

Extra beds in the private suites have additional daily rates.

Bed linen is provided at check-in and comprises a set with a towel, sheet, a thin blanket and pillowcase. The exchange of this set will be done every 3 days.
We advise you to bring a blanket for the cooler evenings.

We charge a fee of R$ 15.00 per additional towel and we do not allow use outside the Hostel environment.

Our laundry service charges R$ 20.00 per basket (up to 20 pieces) and is available every day.

We are in a region with a high population of mosquitoes. Help us to keep doors and windows of the rooms closed between 6 pm and 6 am. We recommend you bring your own repellent.

It is not allowed to store alcoholic beverages in the hostel. The same for the consumption in the rooms.

We are not responsible for forgotten items in rooms or outside areas.
