About the property
The project was born after the owner has spent a few years travelling the world, going to more than 20 countries and meeting thousands of people. After so much travelling the owner decided to return to Brazil and set up a hostel in the place where he always lived with his family. After some studies to make the business viable, he started the hostel in January 2014 in order to spread the local tourism and make his friends know more about the region.

Accommodation
The hostel offers double, shared and single rooms. With double bed, single beds or bunk beds. Rooms with private or shared bathrooms. The property offers linens and towels, rooms with cabinets, ceiling fan and 110 v sockets to charge computers and cellphones.

Common areas, services and activities
The hostel has 6 floors, and is full of common space that can be used by guests. It has a large kitchen, lounges with TV, parking, swimming pool, bar, garden, 24hs reception and offers breakfast, shuttle service, tour guide and equipment rental.

Surroundings
It is located in a building with swimming pool, parking, garden, lounges with cable TV, bar and a privileged view of the mountains. In the neighborhood you can find malls, cinemas, bars, pubs and gyms. The main touristic places close by are Igreja da Penha at the top of a mountain and a forest reserve.

Why you should stay here
The hostel is located in a safe neighborhood with a wonderful nightlife and is not full of tourists. Surrounded by an immense Rain Forest, it is exactly 5 km away from the best beaches of Rio (Barra da Tijuca, Reserva e Prainha), with public transportation in front of the hostel that can take you to all the city.
