Casa de Tia Ida

Great place!

Me and 4 other girls stayed in this casa and we loved it so much we decided to stay another night. It had very much a family feel, with Ida taking very good care of us. Its about a 5 minute walk from central havana. Theres a nice roof terrace where we hung up our washing during the day, but at night turned it into our drinking spot with a bar. Thank you for a brilliant stay.

Tia Ida was really amazing !!! she did everything to help us! Even after we checked out the casa, we returned after some days and asked her to help us to arrange more things of our programme... totally recommended !!!

Ida and her family are great hosts. She helped us with all our questions.The house is just 10 min from Capitol and thus from all magore areas. You have a chance to live with locals and not middle of the touristic hustle.

Highly recommend Casa de Tia Ida!

Great location, super nice owners, always ready to help, be it with directions or even if you want to learn how to dance salsa! There is airconditioning in the rooms and hot water in the shower. There is also a nice rooftop terrace where you can drink cheap and great cocktails! The hostel is small but cosy, the breakfast is great, and you'll really feel like a part of the family during your stay.

Not really clean; bad breakfast (hair in our eggs) but not really far away from old city (10 minutes walking)

Great value and location. Owners are so lovely and create a welcoming atmosphere in their casa, which is why it's difficult to not recommend this place. Four of us stayed there and our beds had bed bugs.

The best for visiting l'Havana!!!

Ida and Oriol are amazing and there you feel like home. The place is very well located, in a characteristic zone of the city.

This is a great place in " Chinatown "of Havana; 3 doors down the street they have Tai Chi in the morning ; couple of chinese restaurants ,very close by ; good and cheap food (seafood )

I loved it there! The hosts are so nice and I really felt welcome there. If I ever go to Cuba I would choose it again. :)

It was obvious for us that for this price we won't get any luxury, however our host - Ida really cared - was helpful and flexible cooking great as well. We meet whole family what was really nice. Ida understands English a bit. I would come back to her if ever come back to Havana.

Location is central and perfect for walking to all the sights. Ida and her family go above and beyond with helping their guests. Food is great and Oriel makes the best chicken soup in Cuba! They helped us arrange our casa stays throughout Cuba and every place was fantastic and looked after us like family. Highly recommended!

I would definitely highly recommend this casa particular. They are very friendly, helpful and they help you with anything you need.

Very nice location, cheap and near to the center.

But money counts only. Family sleeps in the Couch or on the floor just to have as many guests as possible. Was a strange Situation to sleep in the parents and in the daughters bed.

This place is the best place ever. I have never met people so nice and sweet before. It is close to the center and very clean. The breakfast is yummy and the people helpful.

Had an awesome time at Tía Ida`s! Ida and her family had been very kind to us and we felt at home all the time. She serves delicious dinner and breakfast. The house is situated in chinatown next to the capitol, 5 minutes walking distance to the main shopping street. Can't imagine a better place to stay in Havana!!

Pasamos unas vacaciones magnificas en casa de tía Ida! Ida y su familia son muy cariñosos. nos sentimos en casa desde el primer momento. La cena y el desayuno fueron riquísimos! la casa queda en el barrio chino, cerquita del capitolio, muy bien ubicada, se puede caminar a todos los sitios importantes. No me puedo imaginar un sitio mejor para pasar sus vacaciones en la habana!
