Unfortunately I can't recommend due to the noise - the guest room is over a busy road 24/7 and the slatted windows on 2 sides of the room let in all the sound (not the owner's fault - most Cuban residences don't have glass in windows). Didn't sleep well. We stayed at other Casa Particulares which were quieter and cheaper, with bigger bathrooms so value was not great for us. Sorry!

.when one escoje a room in the city of havana vat, in a main avenue is some noise, the cars in all vat are this way, it specifies, the rooms that don't have ruiido don't have windows neither seen to the sea like mine.
but if it can fall asleep, also one comes to vat to dance, to take a mojito to have a good time when it arrives to the room it is to descanzar and if one can descanzar and to sleep takes 17 years producing I have never had problems with anybody they can chequear www.tripadvisor.com
it is a deluxe apartment in an avenue you didn't see the mapa_, one the recepciona check in it treats him with love Cuban affection and they put in internet what you/they want.they are always not well served, if they come to be criticized they had been in their country.our beautiful island is this way, we characterize ourselves for the culture, cheerful, noises, dances, screams in the streets, the old cars with noises, the bus, it is part of our vat.center habana are also.to walk to the two ends of the habana.preserve and old habana.I wanted to give the information so that they know that they should live their own experience and not to write to destroy me my business, the bathroom is normal as the vat bathrooms deprived inside the room, it is the same as there are people of high, low statures, buildings some but high that other different ones everything.my bathroom is normal typical of our vat, thank you.a hug, licet

Licet is a great host. We stayed her 1 night (our first in a casa) and felt welcome.
Although situated near downtown Habana and Habana Vieja the casa was easy to find and we could park in front of it.

Licet was a wonderful host. She has a warm and trustworthy personality. You feel at home the moment you walk in the door. The casa is very clean and brightly colored. The bathroom is clean but a bit narrow if you are a bigger person. We didn't have a problem as we are skinny. The view from the window of the guest room is beautiful, you can see the ocean/malecon as it is only a block away. Great, safe location. I would stay again if I return to Havana. Would recommend Biky's for meals, walkable 4 blocks away. The P16 public bus runs from the airport to the bus stand 150 feet from the apartment for only 5 cents! Can't beat that!!

Licet was amazing. We stayed there for 6 nights and she helped was with everything. Location is good, it is about 15 walking to downtown area, and you can alwayse take taxi. Overall i am a 100% satisfied.

I highly recommend this casa. Licet & Pepe are lovely friendly people and the best hosts and introduction to Cuba you could possibly wish for.Licet speaks english and she was so helpful with our onward travel plans.Nothing was too much trouble for her. The casa is on the fourth floor in a residential area. Turn right and it is a very short walk to the seafront Malecon where you can easily walk in 10 mins to Habana vieja. Turn left from the casa and you get to Habana centro in 10 mins. Great location to see the true Cuba. Thank you Licet, I am so pleased we stayed with you as our introduction to your fabulous country.

I respond to their comment.if he/she reserves in a city there is noise and if he/she goes to the field they are the animals. and the localization is to a block pier and center where you can walk to the two ends of the habana, preserve and old habana.and to arrive to internet to comment me stops that is not exactly where we receive you with love, love and kindness.
one comes to the country to know, difrutar, not to criticize, you had left a hotel 5 star, because for the price 25 cuc convertible pesos there are comfort, quality and cleaning and good treatment.thank you for their help of their comment.regards licet

Licet tries to make you feel as welcome as possible and will help you answer any questions you have about the area or how to get to where you want to go. We stayed 2 nights here and it's right in the center between vedado and old havana (if you don't mind walking a bit - it's great location).

Licet and Pepe were as kind as expected and their home was really comfortable. Both the room and the rest of the house were very clean and tidy.
They also helped us during our trip, giving us advice and tips to move around La Havana.
They are completely realiable so we felt totally safe. Without any doubt, we would choose their home again for visiting Cuba.

We loved staying with Licet & Pepe, who were incredibly helpful and friendly in booking taxis etc. Licet also speaks spanish slow enough you can try to understand which is an added bonus! She is an incredibly relaxed host, and was incredibly helpful i sourcing alternate accommodation (and makes a cracking breakfast). The room was lovely and I would thoroughly recommend - we had a great stay!

Had a lovely 11 night stay at Licet and Pepes casa, they were both very friendly and sweet, Licet helped arrange taxis for us and told us what was too expensive etc. Lovely breakfast in the mornings and a lovely view from the balcony! Hope we weren't too much of a pain hogging your deckchairs! Would highly recommend, especially as it was v cheap.

Casa has very good location. Each taxi driver knows where to go when we show the address. A lot of interesting places can be reach by walking for 15 min.
Licet prepares delicious breakfast and will explain and show you all needed information!

Was good for a short stay in Havana! We were able to communicate with Licet in English, and she was very helpful with calling to book a taxi for us to get to the bus station and calling ahead to reconfirm our casa in the next town. The street and building are a bit run-down, but apartment itself was clean and suited our needs. Was close walking distance to old Havana and very close to Malecon. We did not eat any meals here, so I can not comment on that. The room was a private bedroom with attached bathroom within their apartment. The shower was lukewarm. The beds were not the most comfortable, but fine for our short stay of 2 nights.

Loved staying here. Licet and Pepe were so hospitable. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and that everything was arranged before we flew out of Cuba. The room was comfortable and clean - and there was a lift to their home on the 4th floor. As someone with a disability, it made everything so much easier! Great place to stay.

This place is a comfortable and cozy little nook overlooking a part of the Malecon and Old part of the city. Lucet is very helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend staying here for this price and would go back!

I stayed with Licet and Pepe recently with a friend for one week and we really enjoyed our stay with them! The location was perfect for what we were looking for - busy but close to smaller photogenic Havana streets and steps away from the Malecon.
The house was clean, comfortable, and safe (I left my laptop, cameras, etc. without any worries). I would definitely stay with them again!

We stayed with Licet and Pepe for an entire week, and ended up spending an extra night there when we returned to Havana. They where very welcoming and kind, and the room was everything we had hoped for and more. Very good value for money! It is located right by Malecon, an amazing waterfront which connect centro (where til apartment is) with the beautiful old part of Havana. It is only a 20 minute walk!
