Hostal A TU VERA

We had a great time at the Hostal Amanecer. The hosts were very friendly and kind. They helped us with everything, like organizing trips, checking out Restaurants and reserving taxis. Also the location is very good. You just Walk a few Minuten to the Main Square. The room is quite big with a private bathroom and a TV.

very nice and friendly people. Really wonderfull time and the best breakfast of our whole trip.

We were welcome in the most considered and pleasant way. She knew it was our honeymoon and took the time to create a small present.

The casa is on a great location not too far from the main centre. In this casa is warm water.

The casa also has a large roof terrace and mother and daughter are always helping out when you have a question.

We didn't like Santiago particularly but this wasn't the fault of the hostel. It was quite an impressive house and the room was fine, a bit old-fashioned but then most are. Despite that Rosa and José couldn't speak English we found them to be lovely lovely happy people, a joy to stay with. The breakfast here was the best we had. After nearly three weeks of fruit followed by egg we were getting a bit fed up, but the breakfast here had a few extras. Oh there's also a mega terrace upstairs though you don't eat here.

Everything about this casa was fantastic. Nice breakfast. And sweetest hosts ever. Very good location.

Rosa and Juan are great hosts, warm and welcoming and very helpful. Their casa is super clean and very conveniently located only five minutes walk to the historical centre. Highly recommended

Near to citycenter, 5-10 min. walk. Very sweet owners and they were finishing two other bedrooms and a huge roofterrace when we were there in May 16. Big, good breakfast. And Jean-Carlos sings in a band, we saw him perform in a restaurant. Good show. First casa with a tv, didn't really use it, but was funny to see Cuban programming. Parkingfee was 2cuc p.night. The car was being watched by four older men..

Our best stay on the whole Cuba trip. Rosa y Juan are great and very helpful people. I was sick one day and Rosa cured him with her soup. They gave us very good tips and organized more casas for us and short trips in Santiago. We are very thankful for all their help. We also got to see Juan play music in a local bar!

Rosa and Juan Carlos were amazing. We had a issue with reservation where our added day was not processed. Rosa called around to see which hostal could take us and wouldn't let us leave until things were sorted out. When we came back to stay, they were amazing. Breakfast was great. My only complain would be that their description said 3 standard beds, which it wasn't really. It was 1 double bed and 1 single. I mentioned that to Rosa, and she said this will be changed so other travelers won't have an issue. If I ever come back to Santiago, I will stay with them again.

but it was really good looking for the minutes we've been there...
