Hostal Dr. Amaro y Dra. Yamira

We definitely recommend the casa (in the center of Trinidad) of Amaro and Yamira! They were the most friendly and nicest people we have met in Cuba. They rent 2 rooms, both big enough with a very good bathroom. It's clean and the breakfast is amazing. Amaro and Yamira speak English very well, they both have studied medicines and (have) work(ed) in the hospital of Trinidad. If we should go back to Cuba we definitely would visit them again!

Dr. Amaro and Dra. Yamira were perfect hosts. They did everything we asked and more! The accommodation was delightful - clean and comfortable, with great attention to the little details. I absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to create fond memmories of Trinidad.

The best home stay in Trinidad. Location is excellent (near Plaza Mayor) and Dr. Amaro and his wife could not have been more helpful in everything. Do yourself a favor and STAY HERE!

The best casa during our trip through Cuba

My daughter was sick while we were in Trinidad, and I am so glad and grateful that I was just in this casa, because of Dr. Amaro who went out of his way to help us! It felt safe to be there, and he is so trustworthy and pleasant. If I ever go back I will stay with him again, no doubt!

This was our first time in Cuba. First we stayed one week in Havana, before we went to Trinidad. There we stayed for six nights in Dr Amaro and Dra Yamiras house. It was a great stay! Perfect location, nice room with aircondition, comfortable beds, nice bathroom, and very good breakfasts and the other meals as well :-) On the roof of the house there is a wonderful roof terrace, perfect for enjoying a Daiquiri while watching the sunset in the evenings.

Dr Amaro also helped us to find the best guides for both horseriding, guided tour in Trinidad and snorkelling, as well as a very good salsa instructor. All this made our stay in Trinidad perfect. It was a bit sad to leave these fantastic people, but we hope to see you Amaro and Yamira again some time!

Warm and wonderful hosts make you feel completely comfortable in their spotless home. Dinner is delicious and the special cocktail is not to be missed!

Great hostal in old Trinidad 5 mins from bus. Food so good didn't eat anywhere else. Room in annexe at the rear (aircon, shower room, shared open areas on ground floor & roof terrace).

Perfect holiday in a great house with very special hosts, wonderful breakfast, clean rooms and amazing view from the rooftop!

Beautiful, with privacy, atmosphere, great hosts and facilities, and a newly renovated third-floor terrace with gorgeous views of historic Trinidad. Fantastic!

Unbelievable!!! Best place to stay in cuba. Its very well located - next to the central plaza de Mayor and viazul, very clean, beautiful view from the rooftop. Food is unbelievable delicious - we tried once and always ate there. Ramon and Yamira are the best hosts one can imagine. Very very lovely people always taking care of us. We were very happy to meet them and stay there. Next time in cuba we want to stay there for sure!

Unglaublich, wirklich das beste Casa in dem wir waren. Sie liegt sehr zentral in der Nähe des Plaza Mayor und der Viazul Bus-Station. Alles sehr sauber und liebevoll designt. Zudem ist das Essen unglaublich lecker! Haben um zwei tage verlängert, unser fünf-sterne-hotel war wesentlich schlechter in allen Punkten. Wir wurden gefragt, ob noch etwas verbessert werden kann aber uns fiel gar nichts ein!
