We recently opened in August 2015 and we are the first Pod Hostel in Quito, Ecuador the story is the following:

One day I grabbed my backpack and went out to discover new routes, I met cheerful travelers like me that value life, that recognize the richness in different cultures, in city centers, in people, in history, in beliefs and in incredible landscapes…

Each step of the way I discovered the joy of being born in Ecuador, such a biodiverse country.


El Hostelito is Ecuador´s first and only Pod Hostel catering to travellers who want to experience something different, whilst having the privacy that one is looking for. In El Hostelito we base ourselves in our Cozy atmosphere, security, location and service, but most of all we want to provide the guest with an unforgettable experience.

We have individual pods and double (couple) pods. We also have a medium pod with a slightly bigger bed. All of our pods have a light, power socket and curtain for privacy.

Services and activities
We have a game room, communal kitchen, library, tv room, rooftop terrace with a beautiful view. We have a delicious breakfast for $3 dollars varying from eggs to french toast and pancakes. We can organize any type of tours that you want and we also have social events here at the hostel.

Surroundings
El Hostelito is located in the center of modern Quito, just 15min bus ride away from the Historic Center and 5 minutes away from famous ¨La Mariscal¨ área. We are situated in a safe and residential área of Quito and just 1 minute away walking from Av. 6 de Diciembre where you can grab the “Ecovia” to go to the Historic Center, La Mariscal, Mitad del Mundo, Teleferico, or any of the main bus terminals.
