Welcome to Backpackers Chez Patrick

Backpacker’s Chez Patrick has been, and continues to be, the favorite hostel for budget travelers.

We have an international environment with mostly students, backpackers and other young travellers from around the world converging on the Backpacker's Chez Patrick.

We are centrally located in the heart of Nice, close to some of the major shopping centres in downtown. We are only 5 minutes walk from the GARE SNCF/ Train station and the Nice Côte-d'Azur airport bus stop and 10-15 minutes walk to the Promenade des Anglais and beaches.

Our rooms are comfortable, clean, safe and perfect place to relax. All the rooms have air condition and free safety box for your valuables. Linen and city taxes are included in the room rate. Please note that there are no kitchen, we do not provide breakfast, but we are located in the middle of a shopping street with a choice of cafes and restaurants. The hostel staff will do their best to help make your stay in Nice and are happy to recommend great local eateries to suit any budget.

You have your own keys and you can enter the hostel whenever you want. There is a refundable key deposit of 20 EUR which will be refunded when the guests return the key before check out.

Many attractions are within walking distance from the hostel:

- The old town, which has excellent restaurants, cafés and bars, pubs and nightclubs for those who like to enjoy night life
- The Flowers Market on the Cours Saleya
- The shopping street Place Masséna with restaurants and cafés on terrace
- The Acropolis Congress Centre and many other interesting sites …

Whilst in Nice at our hostel, you can also visit other Côte d'Azur towns: Grasse, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco, Menton and small villages such as St. Paul de Vence, Eze (for €1,50 - by bus), the bus stop is a 15 minutes a walk or you can take the train which is 5 minutes walk from the hostel.

Please read our policies and conditions before you book!
** Cancellations/changes of booking should be notified, only in writing by e-mail at least 48 hours before the date of arrival. In case of late cancellation or no show the total of first night will be charged.
** In order to guarantee your reservation, on the day of arrival we will charge your first nights accommodations to your credit card. The hostel reserves the right to refuse booking if credit card is invalid !

** Please be aware that after arrival should you decide to check-out earlier that the departure date originally booked, the hostel will charge the total amount of reservation.
** All beds available or confirmed will not necessarily be in the same room. When booking dorms, there is no guarantee a group of 3 or more people will be in the same room. Please note, you will be booking beds, not the room. But we shall do our best to accommodate bookings in the same room.
