Le Montclair Hostel

Montclair has a great atmosphere, it's easy to meet people while hanging out in the common room or dorms. While it's not the cleanest (I had to remove trash that must've been left in the dorm for weeks), the helpful staff help to make up for it. It's location in a hip area of Paris is only a 10min walk to Sacre Cœur and a a simple metro transfer to all the main sights in the city. Definitely would recommend!

Absolutely great! Very nice, very clean!

Nice place to stay, not in the center of the city but very close to the metro. The staff was friendly and the rooms cleaned everyday. One drawback: my room was on the fifth floor and there is no elevator

Safe Hostel, Close to Metro, Good Atmosphere

Really great experience as I came there alone and ended up to have a great time with other roommates and visitors. Really a social place for travellers with nice staff. Rooms clean, can use common kitchen, wifi free on your computer, breakfast sufficient.

Nice little hostel. I stayed at 4 people room and it was OK with the room size and beds. Private bathroom/shower was a defenitely +!

Perfect hostel, clean, big rooms, comfortable beds, free wifi and luggage deposit, free security box, 24 h open, and very very nice staff!! 1 Minute from the underground station in a nice area.

The only problem, is that the check in is only after 15:00 the first day!!!

People are going out all night and because rooms doors are very noisy and walls are also thin it's very hard to sleep.

We got robbed in our room, we had left it for about 2-3 hours and we were sitting downstairs, when we returned the lock was on the floor. Luckily we had taken all valuables with us, so they did not take anything, apart from maskara of my partner. Therefore it could be a girl.

The management was very helpful and they gave us another room (bigger) without charge, so we were able to enjoy the rest of our stay. They also said that they would investigate the matter with the security cameras.

IT'S REALLY GOOD!I was in a 6 bedrooms,it was clean.The commun bathrooms were clean every day, they are small but it's not a big problem.Free wifi if you have a laptop or with their pc 1,50€ par 30min or 2€ par 1h.Free breakfast nice.Good position in a nice area and very close to the metro. Staff speaks french, english, italian, spanish,..and they are so friendly for everything! GO THERE! ;)

Good atmosphere, friendly staff. In the summer, it is really hot in the hostel. The showers and the WC are really small and stuffy. Good location, very close to the metro station. Free wifi. So rather a good experience overall.

Generally, it was a good stay for good price.

What bothered me a little bit was that you can really hear almost everything going on: people going up and down the staircase, somebody flushing down the toilet. In this case, I suggest guests to bring ear plugs.

The receptionists are nice but some of them have lack of basic knowledge like one didn't know about the validity of bus, metro and train tickets, one didn't know how much a taxi would cost from the hostel to some important points in Paris.

Lugar sin ascensor, paredes muy estrechas (se escuchaba todo), la conexion de wi fi funciona solo en la sala comun, desaparecen cosas de la heladera comun, la cama era ruidosa y tenía sus patas flojas. El barrio es bonito. Del staff los chicos que hablaban español eran muy atentos.

Hostel with many rooms on 4 floors but sometimes its to much people there. Wifi is not working in the room only on groundfloor, breakfast is nice. One bad thing was that somebody stole me my food:/

I liked it very much. Th place was clean, which is really important for me, the staff always very nice. Tha hostel is far from the very center of the city but near Montmartre (a very interesting zone) and there is a metro station very close. I recomend the place!

Budget, nice and confortable

Well, I spent just one day there, so I can't say a lot of things about the place! It was nice, peaceful! If I go back to Paris I intend to stay there again.

very easy to get to this hostel from a metro station. clean,people are kind.

there's no elevator.But you can keep ur baggages in like a baggages room and leave them before check-in.

room could be a bit cleaner.
