Metropol Hostel Berlin

They were very deorganized to assign beds and rooms. The beds were not ready for the guests and the cards to open the room's door were not working after a couple of hours, so no one was able to enter and we need to put the trash can to block the door

The hostel is nice and the staff was very friendly. The WiFi was broken while I was there and they didn't seem to try to fix it, or maybe it wasn't broken just sucked. Beds were comfortable and showers were hot. Good street food near by as well.

a very good place! the metro and the bus stop assure fast connections! the breakfat is huge, rooms are big and the coomon bathrooms clean.

I consider the hostel cheap compared to the services supplied!

The sitiation of the Hostel was good, altough it is a little far from the city centre (30-40 min walking from Brandenburg Gate), there is a subway station in front of the Hostel.

The only real problem we had in the hostel was our room neighbours douring the first days. They were very disgusting, they smell bad and they were a little bit disturbing.

Appart from that, for that price. The Hostel was good enough, clean, with really good common areas. And, except from the orange juice, the breakfast was ok.

Hostel is very good located, you can directly come from both airports by metro. Room is clean and there is hot water and TV also.There is bar and lounge to have good time. It has perfect breakfast that you can find whatever you want.In front of hostel, there is Turkish kebap too ;)

This was a pretty decent hostel (breakfast was not too shabby, and the staff was helpful), but there were some lesser points: first, the beds are extremely squeeky, so I wouldn't recommend this hostel if you're a light sleeper (unless you're sleeping alone). Second, I don't think the shower in our room was cleaned all that much, since the same hair was sticking to the wall everytime I took a shower. The location was pretty good, not too far from downtown Berlin to do by foot, and the area around the hostel was packed with restaurants etc. Do take the time to explore the area around the hostel too, especially around the Bergmannstrasse, it's one of the cosiest streets I've encountered in otherwise grey Berlin. Apart from that, the hostel may look a little shabby from the outside, but the rooms were really nice and roomy (and colorful :D), even the one for 10 people.

You can meet lot of people and the structure is clean and well organized.

Great value, rooms cleaned every day, the free breakfast is delicious and generous. They even have spare showers and toilets on every level to use if your en-suite is occupied. Highly recommended.

Beds in my 10-person room were shaking when somebody climed on them. The shared bathroom was dirty and/or had a wet floor during my whole stay.

Breakfast was OK, but could be more diverse.

Nice hostel, only too much cold water when taking a shower..They really should do something about that. But it's a nice, comfy place with also a great breakfast.

my 2nd stay in this hostel. And again it was great! Clean, Friendly and the Breakfast is the best I ever had in a hostel!

Very nice hostel with good localisation. We stayed in a "double room" which actually was a 4-bed dorm for usage just for us. There was a shower and a toilet in a room - very nice. This is great solution for the ones that look for a cheap alternative to regular hotels.

Next time being in Berlin I will choose Metropol Hostel.

Very good location, clean, comfortable, yummy breakfast; would come back

The hostel is clean, next to a metrostation and surrounded by good food and drinking places. The rooms are neat, but very boring (just plain white walls). Luckily in this area there are little reasons to stay in the hostel. Especially Mustafa's Gemuse Kebab we can recommend!

A great Hostel! the location is perfect! on a cross of 2 metrolines. the staff is really friendly and helpfull. The can do some decorating because it looks a bit like a hospital :-) but it is very clean and spacious! the breakfast in the morning is great!

Metropolhostel is just next to the Mehringdamm U-bahn station. There are also lifts in the building. So, you can definitely enjoy much convenience to go in and out. Moreover, the staff members there were extremely nice and helpful. One night, I unintentionally left my coat in the common room and went to sleep. The staff member was so kind to have kept my coat in custody and handed it back when I returned to the room hours later.

I highly recommend this hostel to others, especially its rental price is really affordable.

Hello I stay 2 days in this place its nice and clean close to subway good service,good breakfast only drawback elevator does not work if you have heavy luggage besides that nice price! I will stay again :)

It is a very BIG hostel and have the means staffs that we need when we travel.

Too noisy during the nights if you are a family that needs its sleep.

This place is brand new. Mustafa's Doner shop is the best in the city and right at the front door. The Underground stops right at the front door and great things are in walking distance. The staff was great and be sure to book through hostelsclub for savings!

In front or the hostel door they sell al amazing kebab!! The best i've ever tried!

It was really a wonderful, surprising stay. Free breakfast was very nice.. almost similar to staying in a hotel! Probably will stay again if I visit Berlin again and am not already living there... :)
