It was built in the end of the eighties and runs since 01.01.2013 under the brand bon marché hôtels & hostel.

Price per single room or per double room and per night:
Always ONLY €34.99 for 1 or 2 people.

Facilities in all 57 rooms (smoking and non-smoking rooms are available):
French double bed, additional bunk bed, shower and WC on each floor, wash basin with large mirror, desk and satellite TV (currently 84 channels).

What’s new:
New flat-screen TVs in all rooms (as of spring 2014)
Completely modernised toilets on each floor (as of summer 2014)
Fully renovated showers on each floor (as of autumn 2014)

Location of the hotel:
The hostel is located in the heart of the Ruhr area, namely the Bochum-Riemke district (in the north-east of Bochum) and in close proximity to the motorway A43. The motorways A2, A40 and A42 can be reached within a few minutes. So all other Ruhr area towns such as Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen or Essen can be reached quickly and easily. Bochum town centre is only 5 minutes’ drive away by car or by public transport (from the underground station Rensingstrasse).

Free parking, free Wi-Fi and 1 child under 13 years old stays free of charge in the parents’ room! Local daily newspapers are available for loan at reception (in limited quantities). Rooms cleaned daily and, if requested, towels and bedding are changed daily.

Outside of the above-named reception opening times guests can, with or without reservation, check themselves in (assuming availability) at the check-in machine in the vestibule of the reception area (an EC/Maestro or credit card is required for this). A telephone support line (24/7) is guaranteed round the clock from the hotel telephone, which is also located in the vestibule.

Reservations can be cancelled free of charge until 6 p.m. of the day of arrival.
