The location of this hostel can't be beat. It's handy to the metro, the acropolis and almost anything else a visitor to Athens might need. The staff was pretty helpful, it was nice and clean and very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

This was a great hostel to stay in super close to the train station! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The rooftop bar had the best view of acropolis! And it was open late! There was lockers inside the rooms to put your suitcase, beds were comfortable! Ac in the rooms and shower with toilet! Everything was very clean! They also had laundry available although I wish I had of known that earlier! Excellent place to stay I would recommend to anyone looking for a hostel! Also at the beds there was plugs for lower and upper bunks to plug in your phones or other electronics!

The downstairs and lobby were the grossest part, but the rooms were very nice. It's very easy, very nice, casual and comfortable. The rooftop bar is so swanky with the view of the agora. I would stay here again, really nice place.

I only had one night in Athens. The hostel was very convenient to the Metro and the Acropolis, which was what I needed. The late night scene in the square was fun to see, too.

This hostel is in the perfect location. Right in the centre of Athens but on a little side street ensuring it's not too noisy at night. Really helpful and friendly staff and there paid locker storage is really handy for anyone not wanting to carry all of their luggage when visiting the islands

The location is excellent. You can't eat or drink in the common area. I've never seen that in another hostel. You can sit in a dingy unclean kitchen by yourself if you'd like to make your own food.There are only 3 chairs around a small table. I liked the rooftop bar and the ability to order homemade traditional Greek dishes for good value. Some rooms are far superior to others.

Possibly a great place for young travellers and backpackers looking to be well located amongst the hustle and bustle and local nightlife. We didn't get much sleep at all as the sounds of people coming and going all night were quite loud. Very clean and lovely staff and a nice terrace with views over the city.

The price of rooms is too high for the service. In particular, we had much trouble sleeping because of the noise in the street, especially from the new bar-restaurant that has opened right next to the hostel, which plays incredibly loud music until at least 3am. The shower in the double bedroom we had was falling apart too.

This was my 5th stay in Athenstyle, which speaks for itself. I especially like and appreciate the staff - they are warm, helpful, knowledgeable and fun to talk to!
The location is superb for pub. transport and walking the city.

I have stayed here many times. Staff are always friendly and helpful. It is clean and very well located in Monastiraki very near the Acropolis.

Athens Style is a great hostel in the best area, with many shops, restuarants and cafes at the doorstep. The staff are lovely and very helpful, the rooms are very clean, if quite small. The staff are happy to help and are very friendly. The roof top bar is lovely, the view is magnificent, the people friendly and the food pretty good too.

Really nice place, so cheap and so close to the city center. Easy way from and to the airport from here. Tasty and cheap breakfast and really helpful staff. I will back here for sure if I will be in Athens again.

Not worth the costs - the rooms are VERY low budget, it is quiet loud in the staircase area during the night and the rooms have no isolation - difficult to sleep. We had the impression that the owners have no interest in returning guests.

The management was extremely rude the entire stay. There were issues with the air conditioning in the room and extending my stay, and the management was extremely rude to me when I spoke with them on both occasions.

The spot is great in itself. Close to everything. And the staffvis great. The view is great. But, the fridge was really to noisy and the bed covert clearly hadn’t been washed in a while...

Excellent location. Extremely helpful reception staff. Value for money. Both the family room in the old building and the double room in the new building were the perfect choice for our needs. The pillows of the seating arrangements in the lobby could use some cleaning, but I guess this is due to the variety of guests using the facility.

It was the third time we stayed in the Athenstyle hotel. We always rent the appartment with the terrasse and the beautifull view on the Acropole.We appreciate also the location close to Plaka

The staff is very friendly and helpful and it's in a great location. The rooftop bar is fantastic. There are three buildings and the rooms in each are different. The 8 person female had a balcony which was nice and the double in the new building was beautiful! The 4 person mixed in the main building was really, really small.

Staff is great! Actually It's the best thing about this hostel. Five stars for all of them.
Location is good too but overated, there are other hostels very near for half price. The rooftop was ok, but part of it was closed the 3 nights I stayed in there(Friday, Saturday & Sunday).

Looked very clean and had the perfect location. We saw a bed bug in our bed, luckily we saw it before going to sleep so we weren't bit but it was 100% a bed bug. We showed it to the night manager but he was rude about it and said we must have brought it with us. The front desk manager in the morning was really nice and helpful and reimbursed us for our laundry. I saw some blood stains on the sheets in the other room we were moved to, so bugs could have been a problem in the past.

!!! READ !!! -BEDBUGS-
I was initially excited for my stay at Athenstyle, especially after reading some great reviews. I am familiar with hostels and I can EASILY say Athenstyle was my WORST experience. I was there for two nights and on the second night my friend and I spotted a FULL GROWN BEDBUG ADULT. Of course, we felt disgusting for having even slept in beds with a bedbug infestation. We had to handle killing the bedbug since, of course you know they flatten out when they can sense danger. We both took multiple pictures of the bedbug to show the staff member downstairs. We were poorly spoken to and were told "we must have brought it from the plane" which is something liars say. We came straight from our flat directly to the hostel via plane, and we absolutely have a clean flat. We were spoken to in a disrespectful manner even after experiencing these terrible circumstances. We were given a new room which was decent of them to do. We checked the mattresses of the new room that night, and we found blood stains essentially meaning that this has been a problem before because you bleed when bedbugs bite. Would NOT recommend if you're afraid of bedbugs.

Everything is happening around AthensStyle and all the sites are walking distance. Staff incredibly helpful and vibe is good. The rooftop bar is fab with splendid views. Breakfast is a good deal, but they need stronger coffee. Lively area so pack your ear plugs or stay up and party.

I arrived at 6 am one early morning and hours before check in. I was welcomed, given a place to rest and an upgraded room was made available to me by 8 am. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast was just right and the view from the rooftop balcony exquisite: you are looking right at the Acropolis! Central to everything: metro, key sights, restaurants and cafes. Little noisy because on busy street. But highly recommend.

Rooms do not have enough charging points. At least the dorms that I've stayed at. You do not get locker keys. You need to pay for additional locker room. AC is off all the time and can get really smelly in the rooms.

I had a great time staying at this hostel. Close to the main tourist attractions, close to a main train station. Easy to book excursions through the front desk. The staff here are amazing! definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Athens.

we spend three nights in private room with views. It was very good room and maravellous vies and terrace. but i suggest Changing the shower curtain and I found very disappointing that they did not make the bed when they cleaned the room
