perfect location in Catania

Wonderful view of historic castle. Close to all the sites, steps away from the main square and the market. Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful balcony and terrace. Breakfast wasn't great but bring your own food to store in the fridge.

The location is excellent! The atmosphere is nice!

This B&B is a little far from the city center. The staffs had a broken english, so I had to communicate with them mixed Italian-English version. The breakfast provided was not in line with the price standards which they have set for the room.

Very centrally located next to Castel Ursino with great view to the same castle. Super freiandly staff gave perfect advices about the town. Clean and cosy premises. Excellent terrace with great views and food making possibilities. I was there already the second time. Highly recommend!

Nice B&B with an astonishing view at the Castello Ursino and its' surrounding. There is also a possibility of admiring this view from the terrace at the roof of the building. The owner is very nice person and the rooms are clean. The only disadvantages were quite small breakfasts and lack of wifi coverage in the rooms.

It is a little bit hard to find and it is located quite far from the Central Station, but very close to the Fish Market and Duomo di Catania. There is a wonderful terrace with Etna view.

It's an excellent location, a perfect position to visit the city : 5 minutes walk to the Dome. The keepers of this property are very very nice people. I fully recommend it

Dear All! My girlfriend and I stayed at Sveva for 3 nights. The place was very nice, clean, great roof terrace and only five minutes walk from the historical center. Our room had a fantastic view on the Ursino Castle. The staff (il singore and his wife) was very helpful. I can only recommend this place.

The hostel was in a extremely good location, nice view to Castel Ursino. Very friendly staff, language was not a problem, we got very good and practical advices about the city and transportation.

Really nice people. They don't speak English but it wasn't a problem. Nice and clean place with wonderful view. You have to pay 5euro extra if you want use the washer

The location is 10 mins away from the Duomo, but just not easy to find as it's located on a small street. Wifi connection is pretty poor. we spent more than 30 mins to check flight detail, since then we never try to use again. At last, we didn't feel welcome as guests.

Huge baroque style rooms with big mirrors inside and balcony. Bathroom is gigantiс too. Very clean, very cheap, very close to central square. The bad thing is the personnel don't speak english at all, but they trying to chat with you in italian anyway.

Even if it may seem a little weird at first, it´s a cheap and comfortable hostel, placed really near from the old town, and closed to the castle. The staff was great!, really kind and attentive with us. Good breakfast. I´d recommend it

A good value B and B with good posibilities to meet people. The building itself is basically an adapted apartment and it is a bit old. However the biggest critism is that the mattresses are terrible and need to be replaced.

Really good Beb for the price. The first impression you get outside the main door for the house is creepy, because the front part of the building is in bad condition. However, the Beb was really nice and the guy there gave us a really warm welcome, explanin everything about catania!

The room was clean, and we even had a balcony with view to castello ursino. Since we could cook there, we had several dinners in such a romantic place :)

The only problem was that the shower didn't had a plastic to prevent water from spreading to the bathroom, leaving the floor wet every time we bath.

For this price you wouldn´t find better hostal in Catania. Very clean, with air conditioning, varied breakfast of good quality and very helpful staff.Quiet centric, only a few minutes walking from the center (close to the castle). Don´t feel desanimated by the exterior look of the building , inside the hostal looks ok.

The hotel is at a very good location, just about 5 mins walking from airport bus station. Our room was very clean and shared bathroom has been cleaned every morning. The included breakfast was moderate, but adequate to the price we had paid for our stay. The only flaw I can think of, was very annoying entry gate, which always took us a lot of effort to open it.

Nice rooms, free breakfast was OK. Bathroom cosy as well, only the sharing may cause you to wait sometimes.

We were waken up at 8am by two italian ladies (neighbours from the next house) conversating in Italian (read: yelling)... what a nice cultural experience :)

A tipical hostel with sometimes loud guests, apart from that everything ok, big retro style rooms. Good location in the city centre.

Ideal for stopovers & short breaks if you are ready to share the bathroom facilities. No pots & pans but with some creativity you can still manage to cook something! Very close to the Centre and the Fresh Market. Cheapest in town = good!

A real little gem! Such a good price and the rooms have balconies overlooking a castle! What a beautiful way to start the day and enjoy breakfast! Driving in Catania was crazy, but the hostel owners allowed us to park our car in the private courtyard, which was very good. Cleanliness was ok, not super clean bathrooms.

This bed&breakfast consists of a big apartment with several rooms, which are equipped with shabby beds. It's location is not very central in my opinion. In case you're not totally desperate (financially), I wouldn't recommend you to stay at this place. However, the owners are nice and the place is clean.

This B&B was comfortable and in an relative good location within walking distance from all. HOwever, it was difficult as the owners did no speak much english - breakfast is simple but okay. be warned that you may be asked to pay for using the kitchen. We were the only people in the place, except one night. suitable but nothing to rave about and definately not a party hostel or a place to met people.

For me, this was my best stay during my traveling trough Italy! I stayed in a great room, everything you could possibly need was available in the kitchen. Breakfast was to be used whenever you wanted (crackers, jelly/marmelade, milk, tea, italian cafe, fruits), simple but good for me.

The B&B is infront of an castle with nice restaurants down the street.

And for me, it was Catania where I met Italian people 'for live'!

May be there could be a guestbook: the Etna visit e.g. is quit expensive and a warning would be on its place( you can also walk the track when you take some time or split the complete transport up)plus it is quit far away still, therefor I recommend a guestbook (not only the hostel - reviews may be written down but also the experiences in general I think).

I was quite satisfied with the room i had in Cathania. The staff helped me every time I asked for some information, suggestion, proposal. In general, I can say they are doing an excellent job there. Even though, compering to other hostels, they could offer better things for breakfast!!!
