The staff were very friendly and helpful. The place wasn't the most clean because of the residents staying there. There needs to be some maintenance work. One bathroom had a square piece of the ceiling missing. One toilet seat would slide to the side when you sat on it. One door to the bathroom was not easy to close and there was no way to lock it. The room we stayed in was right next to the busy street. I had to wear ear plugs, close the window, put down the rolo, and I could still hear the traffic.

Nice hostel,staff friendly and helpful. Room(4-dorm)was clean,TV with many many channels,new furnitures,clean towel and soap included.For 4 rooms(I think 2x2, 2x4)there are:fully equipped kitchen, dining/common room,2 clean toilets with showers. Hostel clean,very safe,own keys,lift.Neon name above doors,easy to find.Small minuses:only 3 wardrobes for 4 people in dorm(but very big),check in only up to 10pm.

Nice staff, new and clean rooms at low price. Good position, close to Santa Maria Novella station. Il would advice it to people with small budget.

the only disadvantage was that the lift was not woring -> othwrwise nice hostel for this price! Staff very nice - bathroom not always clean, as there was one for the whole floor.

The room was clean but the bathroom not always. The kitchen is very useful. Position: about ten minute walk from the station. The staff was very friendly.

Best Hostel I have ever stayed in terms of accommodation and location
is also very good, with supermarkets etc.. The room is very comfortable and clean,
when I'll be back again at Ciao Firenze Hostel.

Nice with the kitchen and the place where we could sit and chat with other guest..Nice big beds and great with 2 bathrooms to few people. Enjoyed our stay here :)

This is the most pleasant hostel experience I have ever had. I felt more like I was in a hotel than a hostel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and the location was very close to the train station. Florence is a small city so we were able to walk through all of it without a problem. I felt very safe and very welcomed here, definitely somewhere I would return to!

Great value - centrally located with TV and air conditioning in the rooms and a full kitchen. The communal bathrooms did get somewhat dirty, but were cleaned daily.

The hostel is very clean and the rooms are well airconditioned, which was needed. The staff was helpfull and the trainstation and centre of Firenze is nearby, also when you're walking.

ciao hostel florence is rather a quiet place, a bit more like a hotel with a reseption desk, more serious. the interior is really nice, quiet modern and clean with a loveley patio. i booked a 4 person room but they put me into a 3 bed one and there were only 2 of us. very comfortable

Very clean place with a great kitchen. The dormitories are great because you have space to live. It really was my luxuous part of my trip because of the air conditionning, tv and towel we had. A little bit far from the center (5-10 minutes walk), but near from the train station.

I visited in July 2009 for 3 nights. Overall, this is a great place to stay. The staff were great, the place was clean and all four of us felt that the place was overall a really good value for money.

Three of us traveling ages 16, 21 and 39. Hostel was clean, staff nice and beds comfortable. Enjoyed having full kitchen on each floor. Courtyard could use some furniture for socializing. Minor things like running out of toilet paper in middle of night and one of the bathroom lights tricky to turn on on 2nd floor. Otherwise I would stay here again.

The staff are friendly and fluent in English. The rooms are very clean and modern. Sheets and towels changed every day. Nice communal kitchen area. 3 keys needed to enter the room.

The rooms and beds are very good and also the bathrooms (there are 2 per floor). They have a good kitchen to who wants to safe money eating in the hostel! It's not in the center but very close to it and 10 minutes walking from the train station. It were worth by the price!

Very friendly people behind the desk. They helped us with any query we had. The hostel was clean and the showers were great! Also the kitchens we fantastic and there are a couple of supermarkets nearby. It's not super central but then it's not exactly miles away either. I would recommend it.

This hostel is very nice! The beds (not bunk beds, real beds!) are comfortable and the bathrooms are great. There is a full kitchen which is new. I loved everything about the accomodations.
The only thing I found difficult about it is that the hostel is brand new so they do not have tons of info on tours and other things that most hostels do. However, we were there when the hostel had been open only a week so I am sure that this will improve.
The price is right and the rooms are great! I give this hostel a great review and would encourage anyone who is going to Florence to check in!

The place was clean and very comfy but nothing on the walls, so kind of bare. There were 3 locked doors to get into the room, very safe. Lots of dishes and an amazing shower. 15 min to train station, 20 to town.
