Great location to the train station but it takes a half hour walking to get to the heart of Florence. Bathrooms weren’t clean and bunk beds were very loud that if one person woke up the entire room did too. Rooms also kinda dirty. Staff was helpful and the dinner they provided for €7 was fantastic. As a young traveler wouldn’t recommend, nobody young was staying there so it was very antisocial. Wasn’t the worst hostel but sure wasn’t the best.

Great stay. Value for money. Good food. Comfy bed. Strong WiFi. Hair dryer. Good showers. Cheap bar. Friendly staff. Reasonably social.

Really nice place, the old Monastery building was great.
Continental breakfast well priced and really high quality. Location: 20-25 min walk to the main Cathedral place. Shops and bus stops near by.

We had a pleasant stay in Hostel 7 Santi. However we were surprised it was situated right next to church and Hostel with loud music didn´t seem to fit together. Besides of loud music and small rooms, we enjoyed our stay (thanks to fan that cooled our room!)

So nice staff, very helpful. We get all information we need from the staffs. Good location, with frequent bus to the center, about ten minutes away. The room is clean and simple, good with the price. The breakfest was really nice, good bread, donuts, cereals, hot chocholate, and different choices. I like this hostel.

The hostel is not near the city center, butthat's not a problem for us cyclists. Clean room and free Wi-Firenze & breakfast are the plus. Friendly staff

Very nice hostel, value for money, not a great location but take no 17 bus to cfentral florence. Fan broken in room so June nights were sweltering.

7 santi is the only hostel which I have stayed in twice. The atmosphere here is great, the rooms are really big and airy, so even in the heat of the summer we didn't feel like we were too hot at all. The toilets could be cleaner but I suppose they do the job!
Also highly recommended is 'badiani', the gelateria/bakery just down the road. Serves the best gelato and croissant I've had in Italy. Well worth staying at 7santi just so you're close by!
We walked into the city centre from the hostel, takes just over half an hour. You have to get a bus though to the station, takes around 20mins.

This was the first hostel I came to on my trip to Europe and I really liked it! The staff was really great and it had a kitchen and nice porch area. You have to take the metro to the center of the city but the stop is only a couple of blocks away. The bathroom was really small to share with 6 people but we made it work. I would definitely go back!

In the morning the bathrooms were clean, but during the day they get dirtier and dirtier, people take all the paper and leave the bathrooms in very bad conditions. And it's hard to sleep with people shouting and opening and closing doors all night, while the bell of the church nearby is ringing... but at least the staff is very friendly and there is some party or event every evening, and the food is very good and freshly cooked every day.

The place was extremely clean and comfortable. The staff were very accommodating and they were at the reception 24 hours. Breakfast was very cheap at four euros and dinner at seven euros. There was a decent spread of food. Towels were provided. Wi-Fi was free and strong.

We only stay one.night but the hotel seems.really fun and the breakfast was really.good!
The only thing is that the bathroom was unisex, so when you got a.shower was a.little bit uncomfortable

Great atmosphere!! Young back-packers and families allround the world. Old building, but nicely renovated into a hostel. Room was a bit dark (no ceiling-lamp) but it didnt really matter. Staff was really cool; it was easy to ask help and they answered with pleasure. :) It took 20minutes to get to the city-center by bus, and the last bus back left at 23.30 from the train-station... Not good! (cab was 15€)

This was a fantastic hostel. Really well set up. Each dorm room has a bathroom and toilet (which were quite clean), a fan and an individual light and power point for each bed. Sheets and towels were included in the price.
Great outdoor setting with bar. Plenty of comfy couches. Free Internet.
On the whole we were both very happy with our stay especially given how reasonably priced the hostel was.

nice hotel, though far from the train station, but the bus can take you there diretly. the room is big,silent,clean, comfortalbe. the buffet dinner(7euro) is good, i like the atmosphere of the bar. i meet some nice girls in my room and have fun with them.

It was a great location.The only thing I did not like was the fact that you coulld not put a lock on the locker,which ment I had to leave my bags on the bed during the day,which was a little bit stresfull not knowing if other people get to it.Part from it it was great.Price was great

Highly recommended! Realy friendly and helpful staff. Big, nice room, very comfortable beds! Nice garden/terrace with tables where you can eat/drink. 20 minutes walking from center. Best hostal I ever seen for this price! Stay there, you won't regret it!

I was looking forward to have dinner, but when I stayed there they didn't do that service. But the problem is only that. They have clean room, bath, and have a big dining room(cafeteria?). Supermarket is also close from the hostel. It's a bit far from the main station of firenze, but you can go there by bus. and the way to the hostel from the bus stop is very easy!

a decent place to stay in Florence, bus stop right near by. My biggest issue was the bathroom setup... the lock didn't work, there was only one toilet, and the shower was right in front of the door and not separate at all, so I was too weirded out to take one but after other people did it meant the entire bathroom floor was wet that morning (and where else can you change in a co-ed room, but the bathroom?) otherwise, a good place, and cheap!

Similar in feel and decor to the Maze prison. But all in all it was cheap and comfortable. The directions to the hostel are a little confusing and I would strongly suggest looking up directions for yourself. I recommend the Sax Club for a local watering hole. It has an atmosphere of a David Lynch film.

I really enjoyed my stay at Santi Hostel! As a young female traveling alone I felt really safe at Santi hostel. The rooms were extremly clean, the staff was really helpful, and all the major sites were a quick bus ride away. Also, the neighborhood was very quiet, breakfast was yummy :) and the other guests were really AWESOME :) Santi made my visit to florence amazing :)

It's not in the city's center, but it is only one bus ride away. Although I must admit I HATE Florence's mass transit system; It's not the hostel's fault though. Very clean and very comfy! In a nice area too.

clean place, really good attendance, a bar and parties but you wont hear anything from the room!you feel secure. one of the best hostels we visited in italy! a little far from the center and the station though. I strongly recommend it!!!
