nothing to see; cleaning, close to shops, restaurants and metro. People in the hotel attentive and kind.

Ok so this is a tricky one....the services and the overall impression of the hotel was really good. But then i came to know that the hotel is home to sick old bastard who can ruin your trip. He sleeps in room no 2. Never ever stay in this room. Excluding this shitty old guy, all te things at the hostel are very good. Especially the staff which is very co-operative.

The room was very clean, staff really nice, all the necessary equipment was there and WE LOVED THE BALCONY. The only minus was the noise outside, but i guess it's typical for such big city :) And the localisation is perfect, just between the main station and city center, plus at least two supermarkets and lovely pizza house nearby.

Ciao

This location is ideal if you're traveling by train! 15 to 20 minute walk to milano Central ( when u come out of main exit of station, walk straight down along via victtorio piscani which is a wide avenue with corporate building s on each side, 10 minutes or so u will c piazza reppublica then turn left on viale Tunisia, walk another 5 minutes until u c no.6 on left side of street).

It's a 25 minute walk to milano p ga station, just walk along viale Tunisia.

Shopping district is 1/2 block away, grocery stores, café across street. Japanese restaurant downstairs. Downtown piazza castello is 25 minute walk, a park is also on the way

Shower stalls are tiny and moldy. WiFi is great

But people sometimes smoke in lobby . overall good value for Milan and its location makes up a lot. I recommend it to others if you're looking for a budget place

it's pretty good location, around 15 mins from Milan train station, just go straight and turn left on Tunisia.

a small marker across the street and subway station at the corner.

clean room, 1 sink at the room, a 4 beds room for 20 euro with tax, i think it's a pretty good deal

The worse hotel I've ever stayed at. The breakfast is not included and costs 2 euro (coffee & croissant), hairdryer is the only one for the whole hotel, double beds are actually the two mattresses with a bid gap inside them. The only good thing of it is its location and that's it.

Very noisy, but centrally situated.

Many bathrooms. No locker, but you can store your luggage at the reception.

We could not stay in the hotel because of some error in the reservation for which we presented ourselves a night earlier. But I am disappointed that the hotel still wants to take our money even when we did not make use of the hotel anymore. This for me is the highest level of injustice against a stranded customer.

So this is not your usual hipster hostel. But I liked it because of the nature of my trip at this point in Milan.

Pros

-no bunk beds

-sink in the room

-only four people to a room

-breakfast is an option and it is cheap

-HELPFUL and nice front desk staff (24 hours) I deal with a girl whose name was rainbow. really sweet and friendly

-free wi-fi

-big, clean, showers and toilets with hot water (3 individual bathrooms)

-plenty of outlets in the room

-overall just really enjoyed being in a VERY clean hostel for a night and taking a long, hot shower without my flip flops on.

Cons

-mattress was NOT comfortable

-only take cash

-I don't have a smart phone nor did I bring a computer so the wi-fi didn't help. I would have needed a physical computer had I needed to use the internet(which I didn't)

-not the usual hostel-like ambience

Not far from the central train station. Located on a main street (which you can hear during the night). A very clean hotel, excellent WC (loved the new small shower), staff are kind and un-intruisive. Shampoo, soap, towel, and sheets were provided. We stayed in the 4 bed dorm. We enjoyed our stay!

It's terrible. Noisy and without infrastructure. The breakfast is a lie. It's not included as they say in the add.

The mattress was horrible.

The daytime receptionist was really not pleasant and spoke very bad English.

It is a clean hostel and the location is great, but that's about it.

A clean hostel with towels and Internet. However very noisy at night and no common room so wouldn't be great if you were alone.

Not exactly 10 minutes from the Central Station, but still a great location. Piazza Venezia metro is 2 minutes away. It's a very clean place, given its category. The staff is generally friendly and helpful. Note that breakfast is only one croissant + drink.

If you can NOT go there, so don't go. Is not a good place. Example: bed only 40cm from the floor, next day I had mosquito bites all over, is noisy, I could hear everything what happened in the bathroom next to my room. Etc... find another place.

Hello,

the hotel is near to the Stazione Centrale (on foot 10 minutes) and to the points of the city (Piazza del Duomo), about 15 minutes on foot. There is a public park and some nice gelaterias, pizzerias... you can reach a supermarket in the Viale Piave in under 10 minutes. There is a metro, bus, tram and so on... The personal is very friendly, but i can hardly say more about that, because i was on the run and only for slpepin time in the hotel... The days i met much good people in the 4er chamber... Charakter is good... but sometimes a little bit noisy because of the traffic.

It was a clean hostel, close by to the metro station, 2 min, ans close to central station like 10 min walking. The staff is friendly, eager to help. It's a good choice for a Milan hostel.

2 nights stay that this hotel. Good location as no more than 25 min working from the central station and very close to subway. Staff there is nice and glad to provide necessary information as traffic, view points.

Pity is the room I stay is by the main street. Therefore very noisy in the night. Better to prepare for the ear blocks.

Hostel where you get what you see;

Chinese run hostel with good sanitary and a good location, but nothing more.

Staff is not really interested in you and there are no common rooms, nor is there any way to 'enjoy' yourself within the hostel. Obviously you can still enjoy Milan a lot, cause the location is pretty good.

really nice people.

just the thing of opening the door during the night should be improved, as this kind of hostels are usually chosen by students, and we want to go out.

still, really nice people! and a nice place.

San Tomaso - is very nice hotel (for its price, of course).

Clean wc, clean room. Very sociable and nice chinese women at reception.

The best benefit of hotel is location - near metro, not far from central railway station, walking from Duomo (city center).

It was really noisy in the room because trams, but it is absolutely not a problem for me, I'm sleeping good everywhere.

San Tomaso is situated in the city centre of Milano, but unfortunately the owners know that advantage and leave other things behind. The service is alright, but tidiness is not very high...

also the 24 h service which is proclaimed in the description does not really take place.

I also got fleas from the covers in the bed.So there are some issues that should be considered when booking this hotel

Room was decent (small) but good value for money. Fresh towels & room cleaned daily. The location was good (on main shopping strip)... It is a good place just to sleep, there is no atmosphere. Day time staff were friendly but night time staff were rude... They advertise 24 hour reception but the staff sleep at night & wake up when you press the bell.... The hotel make you leave your room key at reception when leaving the hotel. English is spoken a little... Chinese run hotel

It´s ok if you got a stop over. The Mainstation is near by and some shops are around. If you want to meet people you should prefer the Youth Hostel at QT8. Anyway, i´ve seen worse.
