Description

Montepiano Relais is a country estate, in the north of Sabine, set on a hill 700 Mt high in a medieval village of Montasola 67 Km from Rome and 15 from Rieti on the Salaria road (the ancient roman salt road), just 50 minutes north of Rome. Montasola offers one of the most superb and relaxing view of the forested hills and, on the sky line, of the Etruscan region North of Rome (lake of Bracciano, Cimini mountains) and the St. Peter cupola in Rome. There are no tourist buses or crowds of people.
All apartments have been recently restored, preserving traditional styles. Each apartment has access to a furnished terrace: or charming roof garden. From every window you can enjoy magnificent views over a wide valley. Both apartments are cold in Summer and warm in Winter, well equipped (from the weekly bed linen change to matches). Touring assistance, maps and touring books are provided.
Each apartment is independent from the other, comfortable and decorated in good taste with collection of country antiques and traditional furniture, private garden.
The country estate is in an exceptionally quiet countryside setting. The guests will listen just the sounds of the nature while enjoying the wonderful Italian climate.
