Worse accomodation ever, I will never ever come again.
On internet pictures from long time ago, reality, dirty bedroom, dirty reception, really strange place.
I had book for Napoleon hostel and at the reception they said they are overbook and they send me to this other hostel,I know hostel is cheaper then a Hotel, but it´s not for free, so .
I not recommendade, just horrible.

This place is really for travelers on a tight budget. The shared mixed bedroom is simply a regular bedroom packed with beds. No privacy (each bed are 50cms away from each others), no place to put your stuff. It doesn't feel very safe or welcoming. I don't recommend the shared mixed bedroom to women as I didn't feel sleeping there and had to ask for a private room instead for my friend and I.

They don't mention the city tax on the bill. You pay 5 euros extra at the hotel. Not very clean

Didn't actually get to live there. When I arrived I was told that the hostel is full and I would live in another. It was late evening already but it took about an hour to clearified thing up. It turn out just fine, but still I cannot say any good things about "Cherry hostel"

I would not recommend this hostel. It's dirty. There was no key to a dorm. I think it's not very safe place.

I remember you, you are already strange when you arrived, I thought "ohh God, some strange dude has come" we have to see also persons that are coming here, because we have to protect our job and the other guests. And then you told us that you haved lost your baggages, so maybe you are strange because you're worried of your baggages and then, we assist you calling to the airport and t's all okey. It's not true that it's dirty, there two persons who are working here and we work and live in the hostel. Don't write or tell things which can harm other which you are not sure please.

Not super cheap, and you basically are leaving in some dude's apartment in Chinatown of Rome. Bare necessities, no towels, barely a shower. The "breakfast" is a loaf of bread fresh from the grocery store and some Nutella. Not recommended unless you are desperate.

Hi, you haved only a reservation in a dormitory, it means to say with other persons but we put you in a three beddedroom with a key in a room. you pay only 15 Euro/person/night in a high season. We have told you that you can use the common kitchen and there is an internet wifi access available, so if you've got a problem in yourself, it's already up to you. what you think we are going to buy the loaf bread? in the pharmacy or could you tell me, maybe you know more than us..what you think we have togive you for breakfast? We are very sorry for you, the problem is you are not contented what you have looked upon, every price has it's own worth of, you haved got what you haved paid, the only problem is you.

Close to Termini and to metro Vittorio Em.(3 min.) and to the center of Rome. There is a lift, but with a special key. 2-bedded room has private shower, 5 and 3-bedded - shower and toilet in a corridor. The windows of 3 and 5-bedded rooms look to the inner yard (small and stony), 4-bedded room's window is open to a balcony for smokers (so no possibility to open for the fresh air). Kitchen is small, only for 6 persons at once. Personal is nice, buy there are too many people for living together in such narroe apartment). Toilets and showers work, but there are some broken details. Breakfast - only bread, butter and jam. It is an apartment with a narrow corridor. It is possible to come in and out 24 hours a day. I think, if you live in 2-bedded room and the price is good for you, the hostel is OK - only for sleeping.

We reserved a dorm but were given a double ensuite in a totally different location. There were three people in One bed because they didnt find the extra bed... Breakfast was ok and kitchen looked ok, we didnt use it though.

everything was great.. i have only problem with the keys to open the main door and in our room :) the staff don't usually speak english but i think they are nice.

The hostel is very nice, the staff is friendly and helpful. The hostel is located near the railway station (only 10 minutes on foot) and if you like walking you can easily reach all the main monuments. The kitchen is clean and well equipped. We liked this hostel and can recommend it to other travellers.

Horrible hostel - too many beds in each room and the beds were really bad (I slept often enough on benches in airports and train stations and the beds in this hostel are less comfortable). The rooms were open all of the time and anyone could walk in the hostel and in any room at any time, zero safety. There were random people who walked in my room without explaining what they are doing there. And one morning I woke up because there was a dog in my room, I don't know how it got into my room. The atmospher eis not nice, I felt like I was an unwanted guest in somebodys appartment. Do not go to this hostel, not worth the money at all.

The bathtoom was musty, but the kitchen and the room were clean and ok. Live 2 dogs inside in the hostel who were loud at down. The door of the room was always opened when I returned. The lady was very unfriendly.
But the place is in a good place (metro station, Termini railway station, buses, tram very near.)

When we arrived to the hostel, we found out that there is no room for us ( despite we have book it in advance and payed the 10euro deposit). The owner said that, he got another room for us in different hostel ( 15 min away on foots) of course the room was suppose to be much nicer and just renovated plus the breakfast included ( while the breakfast was suppose to be included anyway - that was the first misunderstanding). When we finally got to the hostel we got a room in a basement, with the smell of damp it was really hard to stand it) we were trying to figure out she with the ladies and the gentlemen who worked there, a discount or another room, instead we've heard that we need to pay 90 euros (while we paid 10euro via hotel booking ). They were trying to convince us that this 10 euros payment is the payment for the booking company!! and of course we got the best room with breakfast incl. When we were decided to leave this place the Thai lady said that if we don't like it we can come back to the pervious hostel because there is an available room (?!)...That was really bad and confusing experience, plus the Thai lady was acting like a rottweiler!:) she didn't allowed us to tell a word, not mentioning any discussion. Very unfriendly and unhospitality place.
Kiedy przyjechałyśmy na miejsce, okazało się że nie ma dla nas miejsca(płaciłyśmy wcześniej ok.12e przedpłaty) wysłali nas do innego miejsca(15min na nogach)twierdzac,że tam jest ładniej i że mamy gratis łazienkę oraz śniadanie-co było wliczone w cenę.Miejsce to było daleko od centrum, w nieciekawej dzielnicy,pokój śmierdział wilgocią i nie było do niego klucza. Chciałyśmy z racji tej syt. zniżkę, ale obsługująca nas pani bardzo arogancka robiła z nas idiotki, twierdząc że mamy wszystko gratis i wszystko piękne. Oczywiście przedpłaty nie odzyskałyśmy bo twierdziła że to pieniądze dla pośrednika. Generalnie nie ma sensu wdawać się w dyskusje. Tragedia, niemiłe miejsce i ludzie. Omijać szerokim łukiem.
Quando siamo arrivate, Anno detto che non c’e la camera per noi (abbiamo prenotato prima e abbiamo pagato depo sito verso 12euro), anno ditto che c’e la hanno un altro hostel (15min a piedi) piu bello e con bagno e colazione gratis (non ero niente gratis perche abbiamo prenotato gia’ con bagno e colazione). Poi nessuno prima non ha ditto che puo essere la situazione cosi..prenoto un posto in centro perche voglio essere in centro non in un altro posto..mi sembra chiaro..
Finalmente la camerta in un altro posto puzzava perche era tantissima umidita’ dentro, si vedeva su muro..poi la chiave di camera non eranno giusti (non funzionave) io con mia amica siamo state gia stanche e arrabiate, pero abbiamo fatto una proposta a signiora quella era mal educate perche primo urlava, second diceva bugie e prima fraze quando siamo entrate era “avete pagato gia’??” poi voleva fare di noi idiote.. pero noi con calma abbiamo fatto la prosposta che rimaniamo se fa lo sconto per noi.. invece lei ha ditto di no perche specialmente loro ci anno portato noi qwua perche nel primo posto sono brute camera??!! Non e’ normale questa donna…comunque questo che diceva non sapewvo gia’ se riddere o piangere, finalmento abbiamo andate via..perche non ero possible di fare qualche compromise con loro..non ho idea come mai che questo posto esite e funziona’
p.s scuza per la mia lingua, ma spero che capite tutto, comunque non andarci!!!!!

Awful. Everything is super sketchy. They ask you to pay in cash upfront, the check-in process took forever, there are no keys for rooms, there are dogs just roaming around the whole hostel. My friends I was traveling with got sent to an apartment 15 minutes away for their "room". Just avoid this place!

Excuse me, we ask you if you want to pay cash or credit card and you haved paid by cash. We haved given your friends a whole house only for them, with internet access wifi and lan access, kitchen free of use, breakfast included. Wht's your problem. The problem is you want to cheat more the 10 Euro. And the thing is we are more clever than you guys because we worked here for a lot of years and we know what you are doing or what is going on. We are here 24 hours to 24 hours so we know what is going on. Bye

Sometimes the rumour is large, even during the night, but this is not the hostel's fault but the clients' behaviour. Anyway, I feel myself at home in Cherry Hostel.

Personally we did not like this hostel. The location wasnt bad, approx 30 minute walk to the main attractions. One staff member was extremely rude. The rooms were very hot and cramped. Summing it up it was lacking professionalism and atmosphere.

Hostel has great location, close to center and metro, in chinese area. Anyway people in the hostel are polite and helpful, buuuut I have strong doubts to cleanliness. I stayed in room for two and I got bedbags there! I moved to another with some other people and there were as well! It was my last time in this hostel!

I was surprised , when I reached there , because , receptionist was drunk , and everywhere were Russians. Fortunately things went good , we stay in another flat , not far away few street . Generally that is located in China restrict, everywhere are Chines

I can't review it because they sent us to another hostel even we had a reservation. There is someone who owns many hostels (apartments like Star Room, Walter) and if one of yours has no places anymore they will send you to another 'brother' hostel (this happened to another guys too). We stayed at Star Rooms and it was so-so.

The first time you enter doesn't look so good, but don't let yourself be taken in by first appearances. Really kind treatment and you have the possibility of cooking your own food or use the fridge, as if you were in your own place. And you can also meet lots of different people there. In short, I'd really recommend this hostel.

It's a great experience. Hostel is located in really good place so you can easily get everywhere. Our room was clean and warm ( and it was in February when outside were snowing). So me and my friends were really happy to stay there. Greetings to the owners and their cute dog ;)

It's not a good hostel. There is no hot water. the kitchen is made from patio. You don't have any keys to your room (every one can enter). Water is pooring all the time. The worst choice I must say. be careful!

I' ve paid 8euro for a female dorm in cherry hostel. Man said to me and my friend that here is no place for us and we need to go in other place (without wifi and other conditions which i already payed for). Secondly he asked if it is a problem to have just one bed for two of us.after argue he gave us beds which stick to other beds in this room. even for that price i can not imagine worst conditions than there.
