Good place for people who are fit (can climb 65+ steps.) (No elevator). I’ve been there twice so it gets my stamp of approval. It’s family run. Friendly, courteous people. Excellent location with locals at the cafe across the street. Away from the touristy streets but close to both Giardini and Arsenale, and San Marco Piazza.

Very central with an authentic venetian air. I liked it very much!

Ac didn't work very well and it was really really hot to sleep at night, many many stairs to go with a suitcase.

WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM BECAUSE THE HOTEL CASA LINGER IN VENICE HAS WITHDRAWN ON THE DATE on the 8th ofMAY THE amOUNT OF 584 euros for a stay we have never done in their hotel. We need help to have our amount back. We have already tried to contact the hotel but no answer from them.

Staff could be more accommodating to early arrivals. I arrived around 9am to drop off my luggage, and wasn’t allowed to enter the property. Be wary of early arrival.

Good value for this price. I stayed in a room with 5 bed sharing it with other ladies. Everyone was quiet and respectful. Of course there are issues like queuing to the bathroom, someone snoring or after midnight arrivals so get your earplugs and wake up a bit beforehand. Make sure that you get a room on the higher floors. The ones on groundfloor are unacceptable, moldy and unhealthy. Everything from the bed sheet to the towels are humid and moldy. The 3-bed room was okay, the shower very old and less water. Location vor Biennale travellers very close to Arsenale and Giardini. But hotel standard very low.

It's fine for people who stay only 1 night cause the room is a hotel room but used as a dormitory. For people who just needs a place to sleep.

this is not an hotel it is a Lager. It is unaccetable that such accomodation costs over 170 euro. Did you ever go and checked it out. Maybe you should. It is dirty and definetevely not an guest house.

Hotel Casa Linger is on a top location but not the most modern or clean accomodation. But price and value is great, therefore i'd recommend to stay!

Perfect Location. Nice view. Good service. No breakfast, room bit weird and old, but it was ok for a short stay.

the bathroom was horrible, the curtain had mold and the entrance stunk of mold everywhere, ao bad for allergic people

The welcome was nice. The building is old, but they try to maintain it. The room was dusty, the shared bathroom was dirty. It is a cheap option, the place is just enough for one or 2 nights.

the hotel is placed very central. the room was very small. basic facilities like hair dryer where missing. and had to be ordered the toilet & shower room had no space to deposit shampoo etc. there was no towel on the floor - effect: everything is wet. compared to this, the price was definitely exorbitant! over 1'0000 euro for 10 days

It was a very small room for 5-bed female dorm with private bathroom. The room was much messy; it was not cleaned during the time of staying there. The location was good.

Good location, no air condition, no towels included, the front desk was pretty much always empty which was pretty annoying.

The room's view was very nice, and the location very central.

The room was hot without air-conditioning. The hotel had many stairs to get to the room, but was still worth it.

At the first night we had a great problem with our room, becaus the rain came trough the windows, the roof and it was wet all over the room. The staff handeld it very well and gave us another room, which was very nice an had with a great sight over a part of venice.

Very sympathetic,cordial and easy. Only thing, I was not so happy with the Showerunit, could be better even in an old typical Venice Palace in a nice neighbourhood close to San Marco and to Biennale locations. But don´t expect usual Standard/Price Relations in Venice anyway, that´s why I guess Casa Linger is a quite good adress !

I loved Casa Linger! The location is splendid, right next to St Marco Sq, it is small but coasy and even though there are no breakfast or dinner facilities, there is a supermarket right downstairs! I was upgraded from a four bedroom to a double with only one other girl and the beds are really good as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay somewhere cheap and central!

I would only return to this place based on the price compared to everything else in Venice. The location is good but everything else is meh. The room we stayed in was very dusty and caused me horrible allergies. You could literally see the thick layer of dust everywhere. There was a really horrid sewage smell in our room one whole day when we opened our window. So we figured we had to keep it shut which meant out room was super damp. The staff just kind of sat at their desk and didn't even greet us most times. The wifi was horrible, only worked in the reception. The shower was decent at least, along with bathroom being clean.

The hostel is positioned in a nice area and not that far from the main attractions. It was a little cold in the room, but the staff was nice and gave me a heater. Also the water was initially cold, but I talked to them about it and they fixed it.

Overall, I was very pleased about my stay at Hotel Casa Linger in Venice.

I loved the location when I could find the hotel, I only suggest have a map to easy way to find it...

Staff really welcoming, I rent a bed in a female dorm with private bathroom. They cleaned the bathroom every day and I always got hot water. Absolutely nothing to complain. Cheap coffee and croissant. My room was beside the office but it was still really calm.

we stayed at hotel CasaLinger during the festival. We were welcomed very kindly and offered a room for two even though our reservation was for a room of five. This was extremely kind and more convenient for us. The hotel is situated almost 3 from the train station and you can reach it either by foot or taking a boat, also it is less than 15 minutes from piazza San Marco, thus the location is perfect. Next to the hotel there is a cheap supermarket. We had a great time there, thanks to the staff.

Excellent value for your money. Perfect place if you want to explore the city - being just 7 minutes walk from St Mark's square. 3 Minutes walk to waterbus station Zaccaria - with routes to all the major destinations.

The room was ok, + for a sink in the room, the bathroom next to the reception was horrible! The private room next to reception was stinky so the bathroom was stinky too. VERY good location and ok if you spend all day outside.

i was really glad with the room i got and that the hotel keeper can speak arabic as well, i felt like home and the sight out of the window was amazing.

a terrible place to stay with absoulutly no value for money. 60 euros for two people without breakfest for a tiny room that looks and feels like a servants room from old times. the shower is just a tap inside the toilet room, without even a curtain and there was no hot water.

Surprising place in the heart of Venice!

We arrived Venice late and they were able to accommodate us for a late check in around 11pm. While the room we booked was filled up already, we got placed into a single house, 2 floor apartment all by ourselves! It was amazing!!! We stayed for two days with Hotel Casa Linger and would recommend to others.

I don't mind the Hotels with the shared bathroom and the shower principle but when it's a very small one and that hasn't been refurbished for last 12 years with and a shower door that is falling a part makes the water run every where on the floor.. it's a bit annoying cringing detail.
