The Generator Venice hostel is housed in an ancient, refurbished grain store that was completely restored in June 2013. It has a modern and stylish design. It is located in Giudecca Island which overlooks the St. Mark's Square area of Venice.

The Hostel has a total of 235 beds, mostly in dorms (female & mixed), now big, clean and with all the comforts, including magnetic door keys and individual lockers. Groups are accepted.

There is a big common room and a lounge bar that welcomes the guests upon their arrival. It is the perfect place for meeting new friends, relax and even plan the next visit using the free WiFi connection. It is possible to have lunch and dinner directly in the hostel.

The Generator Venice hostel is located in Giudecca, an island in front of the south side of Venice, 10 minutes away by boat from Saint Mark's square, and just 20 from the bus and train station. The island itself offers masterpieces of Italian architecture, the view of Venice from the hostel alone is worth a stay over here. There are many supermarkets and restaurants in the area around the hostel.

There is a lively and international atmosphere in the hostel. The Generator Venice hostel is definitely the most modern hostel in Venice. Watch the sunset from its window, and Venice will never look the same to you.
