Description

This is the only Hostel on the Lake Maggiore.
A wonderful villa of 19th century.
More than 90 place in rooms with 2, 4, 6 or 10 beds.
The Verbania Hostel is a gracious and elegant health resort resting on the banks of Lago Maggiore, and has an unbeatable character. There's a lot here to make your vacation fun: the mild climate, bathing facilities and excellent tourist services. You can ski only 4 km away at the Mottarone ski area, take trips to Monte Rosa, to the Valgrande National Park, and to the Natural Parks of the Devero and Veglia. Or you can take a boat to the Borromean Islands or to the nearby city of Stressa. Switzerland awaits only a few dozen kilometers away.

Our Hostel is associated to Hostelling International. So, to overnight here, is required the International Youth Hostels federation Card. If you don't have yet, you can buy it here at your arrival at €3,00 more.

Important To Know

Wheelchair access: Limited wheelchair access (some common areas and/or some rooms).
The car park has gravel flooring and there are three steps to get into the hostel. It's available a dormitory with bathroom accessible for wheelchair users and there are various spaces accessible without problems: the hall, the reception area, the computer room and the dining room.

Children accepted. Children can stay for free in parents' bed/s if younger than 3 years.

Private rooms age restriction: at least 10 years old

Dorms age restriction: at least 18 years old

Smoking policy: All rooms and the common areas are NON smoking

Animals/pets accepted: Small pets are welcome: no extra fees, but a notification will be apreciated.
Dogs can only stay in private rooms, they are not allowed in dormitory rooms.
Big size pets have to pay an extra cost of 5,00€ per night.

Terms and conditions

The property accepts the following credit card brands for balance payments: Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron.

The property reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Taxes not included: Verbania city tax is not included: it's an extra cost of 0,50€ per person per night (children under 6 year old don't have to pay this tax)..

Other charges: The hostel is affiliated to the circuit AIG and Hostelling International. All our guests must be members of either one of these associations. Guests can register on arrival, the cost of the membership varies depending on the length of stay and on the card profile, it starts from the €2 welcome stamp per night per guest. All guests that will collect six stamps, will be granted an yearly membership..
