Buzzed the bell uselessly for an hour before I got to have the door opened. The actual owner is not the same person who legally appears to be and who greets the guests. The second guys is ok though.

It is a very basic b&b, not in a bad way. The staff is very friendly and will be there now and then. They clean the b&b everyday, so its very clean. The centre is just across the bridge so great location. And you should really try the pasta on the corner!

The room was clean and the location was good. The negative thing is that they were not at the place when I arrived so I had to make some phone calls and wait. The place was not cozy, but it was acceptable.

The price was near hotelroom but the house was almost falling apart. You could hear the upstair neurbough talking on the phone....and all the steps he took.
And how to get the keys was very difficult.

Great position for exploring the town's centre, clean but not particulatly fancy. I had the bad luck of having loud - and quite rude - guest in the room next to mine, so I didn't get much sleep... but clearly this wasn't the owner's fault. Good place to stay if you're looking for a clean and well-positioned place to sleep.

The location is great, and it has what you need to spend the night: a bed and a bathroom. So for sleeping it is fine, but it is not a nice and cozy place I looked forward coming back to or where I would like to spend time. There is a shared kitchen/common room with fridge and microwave.

Really good place!2 minutes to city center.
Minuses: linen had a smell of dampness;shower cabin was too small, that I had to go sideways ( I'm not so fat!)/ And if you need to get visa, you'll have some problem with confirmation of your reservation - we had/

The hostel doesn't lie in its propaganda. It's a very simple hostel. The breakfast was just a croissant and a coffee. You have it in a cafe a couple of houses down the street.

The rooms are great for a short staying: they're close to any attraction in Verona and also quite comfortable.

The place is very nice and very well maintained. The owners are very friendly and helping. Its located very near to all the historical places. Its worth staying there. I recommend it for everyone: solo, couple, family! This place is the Best!

I don't like my staying there for some reasons
1) it was so cold that 1 night i had to sleep in a jacket. An air-conditioning couldn't help
2)the owner forgot to leave something for breakfast for two days.
3) if you want some tea or coffee you should prepare it in a microoven which is not good for the health
4) there is some noise in the evenings from the nearby bar

That's strage because breakfast is the cafe downstair and is cleary written to go down for breakfsta also in the maps you have in the room
in this two days why you dont ask as that you had cold?? in two day you prefer dont talk so you pay the consequence.

Despite almost perfect location I will not use this room again.The room itself was what I expected it to be, nothing special, only bed and little closet.However when I entered the bathroom, I was disappointed. There was literally no clean surface on which you could leave your clothes/ towels or cosmetics. I undersand that this B&B is not a 5 star hotel, but every tourist demands minimum of hygiene and tidiness. So in my opinion, it isn't worth to stay there.

In B&B Abazia the hot water for the shower took a while to come out and it didn't last. The heater of the room didn't work, we got cold in the night. It's well located, the breakfast was good, and they let us to leave the luggage after the check out.

Staff was really nice, and I liked the local little café for breakfast. They were doing some reconstruction, so I think it'll get even better. Also, there was a kitchen area which was a nice little social spot.

The hostel is very well located and we didn't have problems to move on the city.
But we saw pigeons on the kitchen and it's not very good. But if you don't mind of confort is a very good and cheap option! We could even change the room with 2 separated beds! I recommend.

I would definitely recommend this B&B the price is very reasonable and the location is superb. Situated right next to the river in Verona, it's a short walk over the bridge and to the historic centre. It is a little shabby but clean with a communal kitchen. Breakfast is simple: cornflakes, biscuits etc but you get a free reign of the kitchen including fridge and free use of air conditioning (which is great!). It was comfy, clean and it a good location with a friendly and helpful proprietor. Don't expect anything fabulous but if you want convienent and basic this is the place for you

The accomodation is quite basic and old, moreover there is a small breakfast available.
However the staff is quite helpful, indeed it is possible to use the kitchen (only microwave and fridge).

Really friendly helpful staff. Great little spot if Ur just after a well located bed with just the basics at a cheap price. The bed could use a donor that actually contributes to warmth tho and have had softer matresses before. Included breaky is criosant oj and coffee. All very nice but don't expect a continental spread. But over all and once the kitchen is working (currently just a
microwave and coffee machine - but it worth
eating out in Verona anyway and good value
rests close tool) overall good if u know what u are getting and want. Oh and bedroom had no window but was warmer and quieter that the room we were offered with window onto st. Thanks

A good place to stay if you want to visit Verona for a couple of days without ruining yourself. The staff is warm, welcoming and very helpful. Much nicer than going in a cold expensive Hotel.

Good and clean place along the riverside, near the city centre and Arena. Italian huge breakfast included, very nice and friendly staff. Really raccomanded.

One of the rooms we rent was without a window... The good thing was the air condition.
Otherwise the apartment was o.k and very close to the main street of Verona.

Amazing location and lovely place, tiny sign though so watch out for it when you're walking along the street! Alex was so nice and helpful making sure we had train info and heaps of info about the city, he even came to find us to make sure we knew about a special festival happening one night we were there. I would recommend it, close to everything nice in Verona! I

The B&B (hostel) is located just a couple of minutes from the center of Verona. The host manager was very friendly. The place has only some basic facilities and may be fun when visiting with friends but rather not for singles or couples.

During our visit in Italy we found this hostel the most welcoming and friendliest of all. We give a big plus about the kitchen facilities and everything was taken care of very well.
Please, do something about the front door, locking and unlocking is real pain. We would also appreciate a rubbish bin in the room
All in all we wish all the best to the guys who run the place and recommend the hostel to other backpackers as well!
