Directions (how to arrive at the hostel):

Here's directions from the airport.

The bus runs every half hour or so from downstairs at arrivals.

Take the express bus 783(from downstairs terminal, the ticket is 7 lei, about 1.75 euros) to PIATA 21 DECEMBRIE 1989 (Universitate/Center town/the stop before last). After you exit the bus walk ahead about 50m and cross the boulevard thru the Universitate Sqare under pass. From there exit on the Spitalul Coltea side and take Carol Blv about 100 meters to Rosetti square, there make a right on Hristo Botev and after about 50 meters take the 3rd right on Coltei Street, you'll find us on the left side after about 25 meters at number 48. In front you will see our bar Underworld...go in, the hostel is in the back in the same court yard.

It's a 5-6 min walk from the bus stop.

From Gara de Nord take the metro M1 one stop to Pta Victoriei then change to the blue line M2 and go two stops to Universitate. From there exit on the Spitalul Coltea side and take Carol Blv about 100 meters to Pta Rosetti, take a right on Hristo Botev and after about 50 meters take the third right on Coltei Street, you'll find us on the left side after about 25 meters at number 48. In front you will see our bar Underworld...go in, the hostel is in the back in the same courtyard.

Taxi

-If you want to take a taxi there is a taxi stand with phone numbers and a person to direct you at the airport.

Some tips will be that the taxi fare should say on the door...1.39 ron (romanian currency) and the whole fare shouold not cost more that 100 ron lei with the tip(about 25 euros) no matter what the driver says don't give him more and threaten him with the police if he doesn't cooperate.

Also make sure he leaves you in the front of the place...in front of Underworld bar(address Coltei 48, the hostel is in the back and you don't see it from the street). Ask him for a receipt from the meter and take the company and his name just to be sure if you forget something in the cab.

We also do airport pick-ups for 25 euros per van (maximum eight people). Email or call after booking and we'll pick you up.
