Situated across the road from the Blues Hostel in Bratislava, Patio hostel failed to even get close to its Slovakian neighbours in terms of the listed criteria. The rooms were boiling at night, rather expensive and the staff were both unclear with their instructions whilst also coming across as quite rude. The location of the hostel was quite good however, and they did have a nice bar out the back where people could socialise.

It's in a good location with very helpful staff. The facilities are pretty good. The only downside is that it is very big and lacks a bit of character as a result.

All was perfect. The only problem was finding it, it is a little hide. Once you find it you will se that downtown is very close and also the bus station is close, the hostel is in the middle of both.

Nice clean hostel with large rooms and enough number of toilets and bathrooms.
Great living room with table football. It's convenient that you can buy beer at reception any time:)

The hostel is well located, you can get to the touristic places by walking about 10 min. It's clean, with new furniture, free internet access and Wi-Fi and with a good atmosphere.

It's one of the cheapest hostels in Bratislava. It's a good place where to stay, especially if u are young. The room and the bathroom where clean and from my part everything is ok with this hostel.

It served it's purpose. We slept there and that was all. Had a free table football game, computers to use for free and free wi-fi to all. If you don't mind profanity and sexual pictures drawn on the bunk above you than it was nice.

Greatest place in Bratislava to spend the night for small money. In the strict centre! A lot of facilities, very helpful staff, clean and large rooms. Even though Patio Hostel occupies the whole building, the place looks very private.

Stuff treats customers different. If u book 3 nights and do not show up on the first night u have the pay the price for a walk around which is roughly 4 times higher. Other guests with the same problem payed only the price from the booking. The computers for internet and wifi sucks too.

Very good. Excellent combination price/value. Clean, good location, easy to get everywhere. 12beds rooms are actually of two rooms. Kitchen is tiny but you can manage. Staff's very helpful. Liked it.

Too short my weekend to say, but despite of that, a very good hostel, very well placed --5mins. walk from the no traffic zone/lovely old city--, clean, not crowded (but was november..), warm all night in room (even too much), and very cheap: try it!

Don't be scared by the front of the hostel, really thrilling: it seems a horror movie, but inside the building it's nice, clean and very cheap. I recommend it for guys, but not for family: beds are the most uncomfortable I've ever slept on!!!

Ok, everythins was just wonderful, with the exception of the janitor woman that was very rude with us... but it doesnt have to be and to do with the service and all. It is an excellent hostel!, The best in town!

Nice place to stay if you are travelling with friends. Its located close to the attractions. People at the desktop speak English. They have a parking lot, so if you are driving you can feel safe.

Very nice staff, totally uncomplicated. The location is also good, since it is quite close to the downtown. Only negative point was that the internet was not working, but probably it was a temporarily problem. I can advise it.

Typical backpacking place. Nice shared rooms (as always they could be cleaner) and cool place to gather together ans share stories in the basement (internet,sofas,soccer-table,maps,....(could also be improved) Useful facilities. Conclusion: Not the best ever seen but acceptable. Recommendable place for backpacking experiences.

The staff is very good and if u have a car u can safely park it in their parking area. a lot of noise during the night. i didn't like the bathrooms.
