HelloBCN Hostel

I've stayed there for 2 nights with my friends. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms and bathroom very clean. We enjoyed the idea of "free food zone" which is a really good concept :)

We reccomend HelloBCN! :)

The hostel was a little out of the way but it was very easy to get to the metro which can go throughout the city. The hostel has great lobby areas and posters with ideas of what to do in Barcelona. I also loved their security system. I felt very safe keeping my stuff in large lockers that locked with the same key I had for the door meaning I only had to keep track of one thing instead of two.

I was traveling alone and I really liked this hostel. Felt very safe! I wish I had been traveling with friends because the atmosphere reminds me of college dorm room days! Located close to city center & next to metro. Only thing: if you are a light sleeper DEFINITELY bring earplugs. I did and the echoes of doors shutting downstairs still kept me up a bit.

very spacious,clean,with good ,friendly atmosphere,rooms very clean,with lockers in it ,so I felt that my belongings are secure and safe.quiet at night,I really recommend that place,extremaly close to metro L3 Paralel,shops and food bars and restaurants,walking distance to Ramblas and Columbus statue-10-15min

The security and the breakfast are good, but the bathroom is not so nice.

i passed my 2 nights in this hostel and i recommend .good staff , good atmosphere and a lot of entertanment.

This was the best hostel i've ever been!! The location was near the metro station and the staff was great!!! I loved it!

good place to stay, staff take you out for free to best nightclubs, great for meeting people. location wasn't fantastic but this didnt matter at all.

FANTASTIC HOSTEL! Rooms clean and tidy - security lockers great for peace of mind. Staff friendly and always up for a chat and a laugh. Great location. Brilliant atmosphere! LOVED IT!!! :)

good place for partying youth, not for families with children! Clean, practical rooms, bit small. Safe place. Too small kitchen and very simple breakfast.

Rooms and bathrooms are pretty clean, staff people are always very kind and helpful, position is great, since it is very close to one of the main metro stations. Breakfast is OK. I highly reccommend it.

That was a really really good hostel. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the people really cool (mostly Australians)and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They also have a nice common room, with a bar and everything. So, if you want to have a good time in Barcelona - go there.

Nice new hostel, 10 min by walk from Las Ramblas. There is a ping pong table that can be used in the evenings, FREE internet, nice people :) To recommend :)

fantastic place!! If you want to have fun with lots great young people it is certainly the right place! But if you want to get some sleep, maybe you should find a hotel or something..

Breakfast was a bit disappointing; it was not a Spanish breakfast at all. Too much toast bread every morning for the past seven days. You've increased my obesity :P

all you could ask for in a hostel. clean, fun, safe etc. free internet and coffee was great, plus no lockout or curfew. I had a great time and would totally recommend to anyone else

Stayed there for 5 nights. I didn't use the breakfast so I can't say anything about that. It's close to a metro and Las Ramblas. Ideal position, cheap and clean. Wath do you want more. If I go back to Barcelona, I use this hotel.

Hello BCN Hostel was very clean, safe, and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful and I had a great time there!

Really, it was very great. It's very clean (they clean bedrooms every day), the staff is always happy to help you, it's very easy to meet other people. The position is maybe a little bit strange, but I don't think it's very dangerous. I would go back at these hostel any time.

I stayed in this hostel with my mother and two of her friends and we all thought that it was perfect. It is really clean, probably the cleanest hostel in Barcelona. I was really impressed with their security and we all felt safe and comfortable. They have big lockers, where you can safely store your backpack. We had some minor problems and the staff handled it great. The location is perfect, 2 minutes to metro station Paral.lel and 10 minutes walking to Ramblas. I have to say that HelloBCN will be my first choice when I return to Barcelona (I drank from the fountain).

Hola! we were there for two nights and 'twas truly a remarkable experience. I salute the staff for being so nice especially Laura and Jessica. Actually all of them, but i only knew these two nice ladies since i started booking with them. They speak english very well (actually Laura is a native english speaker) and i think this is very important for a hostel so as for guest to feel comfortable with. I would say the rooms are not so clean or shall i say a little smelly but i mean i dont expect much from a hostel and so it was ok for me. the breakfast was fine as well. its true the location is very accessible to almost everything, you don't need a train ticket as we usually just walk from there going to touristic places. i wont bother booking with them again if ever i will return to barcelona. Side Note just can't resist saying this: Don't ever fly with RYAN AIR if you plan to visit Barcelona as its very far and the staff there at Girona Airport are the worst Airline staffs i've ever met. They didnt allow us to check in, just because they are so slow and so rude with customers, or maybe its their tactic for us to rebook as they don't have much passengers. I have no doubt this airline is closing soon..

I spent a really good time in this youth hostel, one of the best I've been to. I was able to party, go out, visit and sleep at night, people were really respectful of others, the free breakfast in the morning is great, the kitchen is in a very good state (the whole hostel is less than two years old). I really really recommend it!! + Barcelona is a wonderful city to discover!!
