Hostal Cruz Sol

Nice and clean Hostal with extremly nice and calm staff... The rooms are extraordinary clean... This is a recommendation!

Clean, nice, well located. I recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at Cruz Sol. The room was clean, but a bit small. It was a surprise that we got a room at 1st floor,outside the hostel. The staff was friendly, but the most of them did not speak English very well. It also was a surprise that we could have acheived a lower rate by booking directly to the hostal. By the way,The Finnish language at your website and this scheme is quite funny :-)

If you want an incredibly convenient, cheap, no-frills place to stay right in the heart of Madrid, this is ideal. There's no fancy bits, they just do the basic things very very well. A large, clean, comfortable room, an ensuite bathroom, no noise from the street at night. Loved it. Would stay again and recommend to people i like.

If you want to stay in the center of Madrid to a very good price near Plaza Mayor I really recommend this hostel.

Please consider hiring at least one person per shift that speaks English. Very difficult conversing with Spanish-speaking staff only.

Excellent for central Madrid. Relatively quiet too.

It is very good. Everything is clean, good location and the staff is excellent.

It's in a great location, but the rooms are tiny, and I had very little interaction with anyone at the hostal.
