It was dirty and unkempt. There were bedbugs. The administration was rude and unwelcoming. They placed me in an 8 bed when I booked for a 4 bed and when I paid they didn't bother to explain this change to me. There were no lockers in the 8 bed either

Are normal&real, clean, normal people. That is more important than all the digital fraudgangs seen before. Tried to visit a different one prior to this (Safestay Madrid), and the drugaddicted drunkard receptionist in "Safestay" wanted to copy all numbers from a payment card: what a overproud fraudster. When said No: that is too much he wants and have not seen a room yet, instead of apologising, showing a room first and providing accommodations, the drugaddict receptionist in Safestay requiring trust where no trust should be given to such, said: I am kicking you out. As a matter of Safe Stay, I slept 1 night on a bench, was much safer than "Safestay". Then I found meeting point and no problem. They are normal for normal people.

Top notch location and overall nice hostel. Friendly staff and rooms quite clean. Only flaw, loads of staff coming and going at any time in the rooms and was in a all girls room and we ended up having a guy in our room because there was no space in mixed rooms.

The guy on the desk carried my rucksack to the dorm for me and took a lot of trouble about giving directions - he really made it a great stop over in Madrid

It's a hostel next to the royal palace. Which is great. You can't store you're luggage when checking out. The breakfast is really bad foor the 2 euro's you pay.

It's really nice hostel, with good location, everything is so close. If u like too party, this is good place for pre drinking. Staff is always in party mood :) Rooms are really clean, every morning is there cleaning lady. In price is also included breakfast. Kitchen is big and clean, so u can also prepare your meal. I really recommend this hostel. We spent 3 nice nights here :)

My friends and I loved this place. We booked the 4 bed private dorm and were astounded by its decor and cleanliness. The place is a little pricey but honestly, you get exactly what you pay for. It was very hotel-esque. The staff was really sweet and accommodating, very professional and knowledgable about things going on in the city. Located right next to the Cathedral and Royal Palace, we woke up to a great view every morning and I was able to stroll thru the gardens whenever I felt like it. The hostel is also a short 10 minute walk away from either puerta del sol or l'opera which both have metros. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Only this is, they could keep breakfast open for another half hour...would it really kill them? Really?
