IYHF Youth Hostel Zinkensdamm

We really liked the hostel. The location of this hostel is good for being close to a beautiful green area and the river. Is a few subway stops from the historic center. The attendants were very kind. The rooms are a bit small for four people.

Friendly and helpful staff (one employee even suggested us to change money somewhere else because the exchange rate at the hostel was not very favourable). Near downtown, 7 minutes walking to the subway station. Many families were staying there. The room really looked like a hotel room. Good food at the restaurant, but I didn't find it a place to meet and talk to other travelers.

We enjoyed our stay at the ZINKENSDAMM VANDRARHEM hostel. Our only complaint is that sometimes guests were noisy outside in the courtyard (by the kitchen) late at night (after 10 pm). Everything else was absolutely awesome!!

Nights were noisy.

You should talk more about the free kitchen on your website: it's a very positive point for travellers!

Great budget hostel. Maybe a little to far from the city center if you don't want to use public transport. Keep in mind that rooms for two with seperate beds look like a sleeping train-coach. Little rooms with beds on the wall.

Nice hostel, only 5 minutes with the tube to the center of stockholm. I would take a dubblebed next time though, not a four-bed room with two strangers.

4 bedroom dorms are fairly small, beds are old. Staff is very kind and helpful. Approx. 10 min walk from Metro.

Really nice hostel in nice area. Not right in the center of the city, but quite close to a metro station which takes you there. Friendly and helpful staff and nice little cafe/restaurant. Fine rooms and no problems at all. Would definitely consider to stay here again!

A nice hostel/hotel a bit outside the touristic Stockholm. Half an hour of walk will bring you to the Old Town. The rooms are clean and beds are ok.

This hostel is very well located close to the metro station and many green areas. The staff members are very friendly. The rented bicycles are in good condition.

rooms are so small that you can't turn there. there are smaller than a small compartment. it's strange. we will never go there again.

Zinkensdamm for the most part, was a great hostel to stay in and the staff was very helpful. However, if you do not have a special card for some hostels you have to pay more than it says when you arrive.

I have a big problem with reservation! I reserved the hostel at hostelsclub and in hostel I received information that I need to pay more becasue I am not a member of .. There was no information about it at hostelsclub web page!! I don't know if this was a fault of hostelsclub.com of the hostel itselfs, but I was very bad surprise! Hostel itself is OK

The hostell is beautiful and in a good strategic position: 5 minutes to the sea as well as to the metro station. The hostel is surrounded by a beautiful park with many trees, what is perfect if you want to relax and to have contact with the natur.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the staff was always available and friendly.

I don't think that you will get a better room for such a good price, which alsoincludes the bed linen.

If I return to Stockholm I will go to this place again.

One the best Hostel in the world, clean like a Hotel with 5 stars, nice rooms, bathrooms clean every day a lot of times. The kithcen was clean and with a good atmosphere. Personal very kind and some women beautiful.

The place is ok, in a nice area, although kind of far from the city center (you have a 7 min walk till the subway and another three stations until Gamla Stan.

The hostel is good but you have to pay for everything, renting the fridge and the sheets is too much, it is a hostel with kitchen I suppose this should be include in the price. And 5 kr per 5 minutes interntet:it is crazy!

Not a hostel to meet people. Haven't seen backpackers at all: mostly families with younger children. Very boring for us backpackers. Must be a very good hostel for families.

its clean but expansive, you haft to pay for the sheets and wireless. The serve breakfast but its expansive
